Online Admissions Processor (Remote) Position Summary The Online Admissions Processor plays a critical role in the admissions process by ensuring all student documentation is accurately processed, evaluated, and verified. This position is responsible for managing incoming application materials such as transcripts, evaluating transfer credits, verifying student application materials, and maintaining compliance with institutional policies and accreditation standards. The Online Admissions Processor works closely with the Admissions, Enrollment Advising, and Registrar teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for students. Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Functions The essential duties, responsibilities, and functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: - Review and process incoming high school and college transcripts to determine transfer credit eligibility. - Verify that transcripts meet the institution’s admission criteria and transfer policies. - Input transfer credits into the student information system and ensure accuracy in student academic records. - Communicate with applicants and advise staff regarding missing or incomplete transcript information. - Work with Admissions Counselors to follow up on outstanding documents and assist students in completing their application files. - Accurately enter and update student records in the university’s student information system. - Audit student files to ensure completeness and accuracy. - Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education/Experience - A bachelor’s degree is preferred. - Previous experience in higher education admissions, records management, or student services is preferred. - Familiarity with student information systems (e.g., Jenzabar) and CRM tools like Salesforce is preferred. - Exceptional communication, organizational, and decision-making skills. - Must profess Christian faith and uphold the university’s values. - Demonstrates professionalism and an ability to work as a part of a team.
