Role Description As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Blockaid, you will be the forefront of our growth engine, driving the pipeline that powers our sales organization. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you'll engage with prospects across the Web3 and cybersecurity ecosystem, uncover new business opportunities, and create meaningful connections that convert into qualified opportunities for our Account Executives. If you're ambitious, curious about the future of blockchain security, and energized by the challenge of building something from the ground up, this role is for you! This is a remote role based in London, UK. Candidates must be based in the United Kingdom. Sponsorship and relocation assistance are not available for this role. What you'll do: - Proactively research, identify, and engage potential customers across the Web3 and cybersecurity landscape through strategic outbound outreach. - Connect with prospects via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels to build genuine awareness and interest in Blockaid's solutions. - Qualify inbound and outbound leads, and book high-quality meetings for Account Executives. - Partner closely with Marketing and Sales to execute targeted, data-driven campaigns that resonate with technical and business audiences. - Maintain accurate, up-to-date activity logs and lead data in our CRM to ensure pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy. - Represent Blockaid with credibility, professionalism, and passion to a global audience of builders, operators, and decision-makers. Qualifications - 1–2 years of experience in business development, sales development, or a customer-facing role — ideally within SaaS, Cybersecurity, or Web3. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to craft compelling, tailored outreach. - A self-starter mindset: highly motivated, goal-driven, and resilient when navigating a long sales cycle or a tough day of prospecting. - Comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment where priorities can shift quickly. - Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Outreach is a plus. - Genuine passion for blockchain, Web3, or cybersecurity — candidates who understand the space will stand out. - Bonus points if you have experience with crypto custody, crypto security, and have a strong network in the space. Role Description As an Account Executive at Blockaid, you will be pivotal in driving the adoption and sales of our on-chain security solutions. You will own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, working closely with enterprise prospects to understand their needs and deliver solutions that safeguard against fraud and scams in the Web3 space. - Build and own the full sales process, including prospecting, negotiation, closing, renewals, upsells, and client satisfaction. - Engage with potential customers, understand their needs, and clearly articulate how Blockaid’s solutions address them. - Develop long-term, trusted relationships with senior executives and technical stakeholders at enterprise accounts. - Drive technology adoption and develop transformational account strategies that deliver measurable business value. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales Engineering, Product, Professional Services, Partners, ISVs) to achieve customer outcomes. - Provide customer feedback to product and engineering teams to shape product development. - Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure accurate reporting within the CRM. - Track, analyze, and optimize sales campaigns and processes for continuous improvement. - Represent Blockaid with professionalism and urgency, ensuring responsiveness and high customer satisfaction. Qualifications - 4+ years of quota-carrying experience in an Account Executive role selling SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS to enterprises and C-level executives. - Proven track record of sourcing, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale enterprise technology deals. - Strong knowledge and passion for the crypto/blockchain industry. - Self-starter attitude with the ability to execute new ideas autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment. - Demonstrated success in creating long-term account strategies and driving technology adoption. - Strong proficiency in CRM systems (forecasting, dashboards, reports; advanced configuration/development a plus). - Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal, and written) with the ability to translate customer pain points into value-driven solutions. - Experience managing multiple priorities and customer requests concurrently. - Cross-functional selling experience, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders. - Bonus: Ability to prepare and deliver financial reports to customers. Compensation & Eligibility - Compensation for this role will be influenced by several factors, such as the candidate’s professional background, skill set, and geographic location. - This position includes eligibility for Blockaid’s equity program and may also offer additional incentive-based compensation. - US Range: 220K-300K OTE - Applicants must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is based, without the need for visa sponsorship.
