Role Description At our ministry, we are passionate about forming lasting faith in every child, everywhere! As the Data & Reporting Specialist, you will play an important role in furthering our mission by turning donor and fundraising data into clear, accurate, and useful information for decision making. This role builds and stewards recurring reports, data analysis, forecasting, and data structure across donors, Major Gift Officers (MGOs), and campaigns. In this role you will collaborate with team members across the ministry to ensure integrity of fundraising metrics and definitions. You will also serve as the primary Salesforce data and reporting expert within the Development team while collaborating with our Technology team for technical system administration. You’ll thrive in this role if you have a heart for mission work that directly impacts the lives of children and youth around the world, and you are: - Someone who enjoys working with fundraising data in Salesforce (our CRM) and spreadsheets - Someone who likes turning raw data into clear reports and insights - A curious thinker who asks what the data means and why it matters - A clear communicator who can explain data in plain language Hiring Range for this position is: $55,000 - $65,000. This full-time position is primarily remote with occasional travel required for strategic meetings, typically in St. Charles, IL or Nashville, TN. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree required ideally with a concentration in business, data analytics, statistics, computer science, mathematics or similar from an accredited college or university. - 3 to 5 years of experience in data analysis and reporting, ideally in a non-profit environment - Hands on experience extracting data from a CRM platform, ideally Salesforce - Proficiency utilizing Google Sheets and spreadsheet formulas for data collection, manipulation, visualization and collaboration - Experience building reports, dashboards and forecasts - Comfort working with large data sets and donor data - Ability to spot data issues and improve structure and consistency - Strong attention to detail and follow through - Occasional local and out-of-town, overnight travel may be required. - General understanding of the Bible and the Christian Church in its various expressions preferred. - Experience with Awana Club, curriculum, resources, & solutions is a plus! - Valid State driver’s license required. - Eligibility to work in the United States is required; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. Requirements - Must be a born-again Christian. - Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. - Must be in agreement with the Awana Doctrinal Statement. - Must be in fellowship with the body of Christ through a local church. - Regularly engages in reading the Holy Bible as a guide and standard for living. As the Major Gift Officer - Church Portfolio, you will play an important role in furthering our vision for worldwide child discipleship through your outreach to the local church and helping connect their missions objective to the global disciple-making work of Awana. - Focus on engaging pastors, missions leaders, and key church stakeholders. - Understand the blessing of the “ask” and solicit donations for ministry purposes. - Collaborate with team members across Development, Global Ministries, and US Ministries. - Combine consultative relationship-building, biblical maturity, and cultural intelligence with donor development abilities. - Extensive US-based travel (approx. 40% per month) to meet with church partners and attend events. Requirements - Minimum 15+ years experience in Christian evangelical ministry. - Strong understanding of church organizational structures. - Solid understanding of the Bible and the Christian Church. - College education in global missions, theology, or similar preferred. - Current working knowledge of Awana Club and resources required. - Ability to communicate the importance of Christian child discipleship. - Keen discernment, active listening, and interpersonal skills. - Intermediate Google Suite skills required; CRM experience desired. - Approximately 40% domestic travel required monthly; international travel may occur. - Valid State driver’s license required; valid US Passport a plus. - Eligibility to work in the United States is required.
