Qualifications - A strong mechanical background with excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills. - Full UK Category B driving licence and aged 21+ (for insurance purposes). - NVQ Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance (or equivalent) preferred — or relevant hands-on experience/apprenticeship. - Up-to-date knowledge of repair techniques and a strong commitment to safe working practices. - Confidence working independently, with a calm, friendly, and empathetic approach to customers. Requirements - This is a permanent, field-based role where you start and finish your day from home. - You’ll work 40 hours across four days a week, on shifts between 7am–8pm, Monday to Sunday. - Overtime is available — entirely your choice. - This role covers an area of - Bristol | Bath | Weston-Super-Mare | Yeovil | Frome | Warminster | Trowbridge | Wincanton | Shepton Mallet | Glastonbury. • Maximize revenue by using historical data to develop sales strategies for each market segment of the company. • Analyze consumer behavior to define a sales policy that generates the highest possible revenue. • Implement tactics and disciplines that incorporate consumer behavior at a macroeconomic level, ensuring proper product and price allocation to optimize revenue potential. • Monitor and manage demand to adjust pricing and availability based on customer behavior. • Increase RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room) and TrevPAR (Total RevPAR). • Analyze and produce optimal pricing for revenue-generating units. • Evaluate the balance between average daily rate, occupancy, and distribution channels to identify opportunities to improve profitability. • Analyze the market and develop a dynamic pricing strategy aimed at maximizing revenue.

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, following established technical and architectural standards to ensure consistency, versioning, and traceability • Collaborate on the security, versioning and governance of the APIs used • Implement authentication and authorization flows (OAuth2) to ensure application security and access control • Develop scripts in Python and/or Node.js to automate processes and support data analysis • Support the implementation of integrations between microservices, messaging systems and queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), aiming for efficient, reliable and resilient communication • Integrate APIs and external services with Python and/or Node.js applications, evaluating interface contracts and handling failure scenarios • Develop scripts in Python/Node.js for automation and data analysis • Implement integrations with legacy systems using adapters, messaging and APIs as communication mechanisms

The opportunity We are looking for a Marine Appraiser to join our team to provide marine appraisal services in support of the Aviva Specialty claims department. This role will specialize in recreational watercraft including powerboats, sailboats and yachts under $1m in value. This role is available as work from home, as the responsibilities include remote desktop review of appraisals across Canada, the US, and the Caribbean, as well as field work in the successful candidate’s region. What you'll do The role is focused on servicing Aviva Lifestyle watercraft claims while adhering to the protocols established and led by Aviva Specialty Claims. As part of this job you will: - Provide appraisal oversight of watercraft claims being responsible for the remote review and approval of repair estimates. This includes validation of labor rates, part prices, repair methods and cause of loss in accordance with industry standard procedures. - Ability to review technical documents including surveyor reports, engineering reports and insurance policies to provide technical advice and recommendations. - Attend in person field inspections within designated region to assist with quantification of losses and act as a representative of Aviva providing exemplary customer service. - Conduct market research in determining and supporting valuations of watercraft, their trailers and equipment. - Review and assist with wreck recovery, identifying resources and ensuring process and costs are customary to the industry. - Act as a technical resource to the department, assisting with inquiries and tasks as needed to support the adjusting function. - Recommend and direct the use of independent marine surveyors, ensuring alignment with internal procedures. - Act as liaison and representative of Aviva with external parties including marinas, repair facilities and experts as required. - Maintain specialty department standards including adherence to timelines for appraisal approval and turnaround. - Comply with reporting and audit requirements as required in the Specialty claims department. What you'll bring - Minimum 5 years claims technical experience with marine appraisal - Experience with watercraft exceeding $150,000 in value - Strong knowledge of customary practices in the marine industry - Valid driver’s license It is considered an asset if you: - Have experience with field appraisal and/or surveying of watercraft - Completed ABYC, SAMS or equivalent programs - Have completed or are working towards completion of the Insurance Institute Program (CIP / FCIP) What you’ll get - The salary band for this position ranges from $75,000 to $100,000. • Register products and services to be acquired by the company in the CM Totvs system, configuring their respective tax settings and accounting entries. • Register products and services sold by the company in the CM Totvs and Multivendas systems, configuring the applicable tax rules and accounting entries for the items, and specifying the corresponding points of sale and product pricing. • Register and maintain up-to-date customer and supplier information in the CM Totvs system, verifying the details contained in the Registration and Tax Status Certificate available from the Federal Revenue Service (Receita Federal), and indicating the corresponding accounting entries. • Execute routines in the CM Totvs system for system updates, inventory updates, backlog/holding dates and movements. • Record bank information in the CM Totvs system and configure the accounting entries required for posting the company’s payables and receivables, using the registration of modifiers, disbursements, receipts and document types. • Create and maintain chart of accounts entries in the CM Totvs system and their associations with cost centers.
