Role Description Auria is looking to hire a Full-Stack Web Engineering Intern to support the Commercial and Public Sector. This role is remote with preference for candidates in Colorado or Washington, DC Metro Area. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers building real products used in aerospace and national security missions. This is not a “shadow and observe” internship. You’ll contribute directly to production software, collaborate with a high-performing engineering team, and gain exposure to modern development practices used in real-world mission systems. If you're passionate about building software, solving complex technical problems, and learning from engineers working at the forefront of space technology, we'd love to meet you. What You Can Expect to Do: - Developing software using C#, .NET, React, and modern JavaScript frameworks - Contributing to front-end and back-end development for web-based applications - Designing and implementing new features in collaboration with senior engineers - Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code - Developing and executing automated tests to ensure software quality - Investigating and resolving software defects and performance issues - Participating in agile development activities including sprint planning and code reviews - Learning modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and version control workflows Qualifications - Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field - Interest in building modern software systems and learning industry best practices - Strong problem-solving ability and curiosity to learn new technologies - Ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team environment Requirements - Collaborative contributor motivated by the opportunity to develop cutting-edge solutions that protect and serve both the nation and the world Preferences - Experience in one or more of the following areas is helpful but not required: object-oriented software development, C# / .NET development, JavaScript or TypeScript with React, SQL and relational database design - Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) - Experience with Git or other version control systems - Strong communication and technical documentation skills - Interest in aerospace, space systems, or mission software Pay Transparency The wage offered will be based on the selected candidate’s college year. $22/hr. - $33/hr. Role Description Auria is seeking a PART-TIME Systems Engineering Intern to join our Commercial & Public Sector (CPS) team, where you will contribute to the design, development, and testing of applications used for aerospace mission planning and scheduling. This role is remote with preference for candidates in Colorado or Washington, DC Metro Area. This internship offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced systems and software engineers on real mission systems, gaining hands-on experience with modern engineering practices while helping to improve and deliver operational software tools. The ideal candidate is motivated, curious, and excited to tackle challenging technical problems in a collaborative environment. As a Systems Engineering Intern, you will support the development and improvement of software systems used for aerospace mission planning and scheduling. You will collaborate with engineers across disciplines to help translate mission needs into system capabilities and contribute to the development lifecycle from concept through testing and deployment.
