Job Family: Information Technology Job Description: Job Summary The Training & Enablement Lead plays a critical role in the successful implementation and adoption of SAP S/4HANA across the organization. This role ensures business readiness through active participation in system testing, process validation, and delivery of end-user enablement. This role will transform technical documentation into clear, user-friendly training materials and deliver engaging remote training sessions to business users. The ideal candidate combines SAP functional understanding, instructional design, strong communication skills, a deep understanding of plant operations and existing knowledge of Astemo’s Global Template design. The role serves as a key bridge between business users, functional teams, and the project team—translating system functionality into practical, user-friendly learning and ensuring employees are prepared to operate effectively at go-live. Key Responsibilities Program Enablement & Stakeholder Alignment - Support execution of the enablement strategy aligned with SAP Activate phases - Provide input on business impacts & readiness risks - Leverage prior SAP rollout experience to guide adoption approach Process Validation, Testing & Data Readiness - Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate end-to-end business processes - Support data validation activities during mock data loads and migration cycles - Identify process gaps during Explore phases including usability issues and downstream training impacts - Support role mapping to align SAP roles with plant-specific roles Training Content Development - Translate technical and process documentation into user-friendly learning materials, including: - Job aids and Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) - Step-by-step work instructions - Instructor-led training materials - Develop short-form, task-based learning content (e.g., videos, walkthroughs) - Align all materials to business roles (buyer, planner, etc.) and real-life scenarios - Maintain and update training content as processes evolve Training Delivery & Facilitation - Deliver engaging, instructor-led remote training sessions - Facilitate role-based training across functional workstreams (e.g., Finance, Sales, Procurement, etc.) - Lead interactive sessions including demonstrations, Q&A, and hands-on exercises - Adapt delivery style to diverse audiences who prefer various learning styles and with varying levels of experience Collaboration & Governance - Partner closely with functional SMEs, OCM/change management, and PMO teams - Validate training content accuracy and completeness with business stakeholders Go-Live & Hypercare Support - Provide support during go-live through floorwalking and user assistance - Address end-user questions and reinforce correct system usage - Escalate issues and support rapid resolution during hypercare Required Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in ERP training or enablement - Hands-on experience with SAP modules (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, or similar) - Proven ability to create training materials from technical documentation - Experience delivering remote/virtual training sessions - Strong communication and presentation skills - Proficiency with tools such as: - Microsoft PowerPoint, Word - Screen recording/video tools (e.g., Camtasia) - Learning platforms or content tools (e.g., SAP Enable Now, WalkMe) Preferred Qualifications - Experience in S/4HANA and Astemo Global Template - Background in instructional design or adult learning principles - Familiarity with tools like SAP Signavio or test tools (e.g., Tosca) - Experience supporting UAT and go-live phases - Industry experience (e.g., manufacturing, automotive) Key Skills & Competencies - Ability to translate complexity into simplicity - Strong facilitation and engagement skills in a virtual environment - Attention to detail and process accuracy - Self-motivation and comfortable working remotely - Strong stakeholder management, communication and collaboration Success Measures - End-user readiness and adoption levels - Training satisfaction scores - Reduction in post-go-live support issues - Quality and usability of training materials Work Environment - Fully remote, with occasional travel - Flexible hours aligned with business users across time zones - May require increased availability during go-live and hypercare Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) – Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, identity, disability, protected veteran status and national origin. Job Family: Engineering Job Description: Job Summary In this role, under the supervision of the Engineering Manager, you'll support technology development for Mechanical electronic controllers at Astemo America. You'll be responsible for understanding customer system requirements and then working with a global engineering team to design/develop an inverter/power control unit to meet customer needs. This role work plan is hybrid structure (2-3 days on-site depending on public health situation) Job Responsibilities: - Lead and/or support technology development activities for new xEV Inverter business in Astemo Americas - Plans and manage activities for multiple projects to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished within a prescribed timeframe. - Receive, evaluate, and utilize customer engineering requirements and work with global team to provide optimum inverter design for each application. - Facilitate accurate & timely inverter program technical communication between OEM customers to the US / Japan design teams, Astemo manufacturing sites, and suppliers. - Participate with Astemo US & Japan Design Engineering organizations in the original design / existing design improvements / performance validation / production launch activities of xEV inverters for various automotive powertrain products applications. - Create and/or oversee other technical specifications as needed for product design. - Provide as needed on-site support to the internal and external inverter manufacturing sites for various engineering duties during sample and mass production timing. - Support various types of product pricing, quoting, and cost investigation activities. - Prepare various types of technical data / information documents using industry standard PC based software programs (i.e.: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CAD, CAE, etc.) - Research and develop state-of-the-art engineering design solutions and manufacturing technologies used in automotive inverters. - Support product validation testing, prototype build and test, and other engineering deliverables in the development phase of product life cycle. Minimum Qualifications: - Possess at minimum a BSME Preferred Qualifications: - 5 yrs. of practical experience and demonstrated accomplishments developing automotive inverters. - Highly Proficient with CATIA 3-D CAD creation and 2-D drawing creation. - Mechanical design CAE experience for automotive inverters (thermal, structural, etc) - Experience with quotation activities (BOM estimation, etc) for new products. - Experience with tolerance stack-ups, GD&T, DFMEA, DRBFM, and DFSS. - Demonstrated ability to manage projects from concept through execution. - Fluent in both the English and Japanese languages. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Minimum 3 years practical work experience designing automotive powertrain components (drive Inverters preferred). - Possess experience with 3-D CAD creation and 2-D drawing creation. - Possess experience with Mechanical CAE (thermal, structural, etc) - Understanding of electrified vehicle system and integration. - Experience interfacing with customers and/or suppliers to explain technical documents/drawings/information. - High level technical problem-solving skills. - High level interpersonal skills to collaborate internally and externally. - Experience managing projects from concept through execution.
