Role Description Join our team as a Payroll Specialist and play a key role in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time. In this position, you’ll collaborate closely with both Payroll and Human Resources to keep payroll processes running smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be responsible for maintaining payroll records, entering and managing data within our HRIS system, generating reports, and auditing payroll information for accuracy. You’ll also serve as a helpful point of contact for payroll-related questions, contributing to a positive employee experience. This is a fully remote position. - Verify timekeeping records and consult managers/employees about any discrepancies. - Answer inquiries regarding PTO balances. - Record payroll data in our software system and verify all amounts prior to payroll processing. - Answer inquiries regarding employee check details. - Responsible for processing bi-weekly payrolls and running payroll reports through the payroll system. - Maintain accurate and organized files, including the electronic filing of time and payroll reports. - Work closely with leaders across the organization, payroll leadership, and Human Resources to ensure accuracy of payroll processing. - Support and actively participate in initiatives designed to improve individual and organizational performance. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Minimum of five years payroll processing experience required. - Canada payroll experience strongly preferred. - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Associate’s degree strongly preferred. - Multi-company payroll experience strongly preferred. - Prior Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) Pro and Pro WFM experience required. Role Description The Accounts Receivable Team Lead, in collaboration with the rest of the Revenue Cycle Department, is responsible for monitoring and managing accounts receivable and billing activities for full AR inventory resolution. The Accounts Receivable Team Lead’s responsibilities include: - Daily oversight of team members and their associated activities. - Following up on unpaid claims and obtaining proper payer claim status. - Billing and re-billing of claims. - Credit balance resolution. - Denial management. - Claim underpayment resolution based upon payer contract terms. - Following up on aging accounts. - Maintaining up-to-date account information. - Supervising day-to-day clerical activity in the accounts receivable area. - Ensuring accurate, complete, and compliant billing and collection information. - Providing supplemental training as needed. - Performing the same duties as team members when needed. - Providing Quality Assessment feedback and ensuring individual and process improvement. This is a fully remote position. Qualifications - Associate's degree in business administration, accounting or related field preferred with 3 years of experience in medical office, hospital, and/or ASC settings of accounts receivable oversight. - High school diploma or equivalent required with 5 or more years of experience in healthcare accounts receivable management. - Prior experience in a team lead or supervisory role preferred. Role Description The Network Billing Manager oversees the daily operations of Coding, Billing, and Charge Entry teams within the Revenue Cycle Department for a multi-clinic specialty Practice. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely coding, charge entry, and claim submission. The Manager coordinates all facets of the revenue cycle to support efficient workflows and exceptional patient account management. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to patients, families, staff, and external partners. This role requires adherence to all federal, state, and payer-specific regulations, as well as departmental policies and guidelines. Location for this role is preferred to be in Houston, TX or Franklin/Nashville, TN but willing to consider remote, with some travel. Essential Responsibilities: - Plan, supervise, and coordinate daily activities for the Billing, Cash Posting, and Charge Entry teams. - Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate staff within areas of responsibility. - Oversee supervisory functions, including timekeeping and payroll approval, ensuring compliance with FLSA, Tennessee Department of Labor regulations, and organizational policies. - Mentor and develop team members through daily leadership, coaching, performance feedback, workflow education, payer updates, departmental communications, and routine staff meetings. - Implement and enforce departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, including internal controls and review processes to ensure consistent and compliant operations. - Manage workflow to ensure deadlines are met with available resources. - Resolve issues related to electronic claim submission and electronic remittances, working closely with vendors and/or Information Systems. - Conduct quarterly audits of coding and charge entry to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and administrative requirements. - Prepare and present departmental activity reports, keeping Senior Management informed of trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. - Provide guidance on complex billing issues and support special projects as needed. - Actively participate in performance improvement initiatives at both individual and organizational levels. - Address and resolve external customer concerns in alignment with the company’s commitment to exceptional patient care, collaborating with other departments when necessary. - Perform additional duties as assigned and in accordance with organizational policies, compliance standards, and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Related Field or Business preferred; or five (5) years of experience in Healthcare Coding and Billing and Collections. - Minimum of five (5) years of medical billing and coding experience in a multi-clinic physician group practice along with experience related to ASC (ambulatory surgery center) billing and coding. - Minimum three (3) years of experience in a management position required. - Preferred experience with practice management systems such as Medevolve and HST. - CPC certification preferred, background in specialties including Reproductive Endocrinology, Infertility, and IVF treatments is highly desirable. - Knowledge of ASC and physician practice charge capture, documentation and billing protocols. - High School or GED is required.
