Role Description This is your chance to get in early and own a function. As our Business Development Intern, you'll work directly with the founder to drive how AscentDevs finds and wins clients. You won't be handed busywork - you'll help shape our outreach, learn B2B tech sales from the ground up, and have a real, visible impact on the company's growth from day one. What you'll do - Research target markets and build lists of high-fit potential clients (startups, founders, SMBs) - Run personalized outreach to start conversations - Qualify leads and book meetings - Help refine our positioning, messaging, and sales process as we grow - Manage leads and relationships through our CRM and outreach tools - Sharp written communication: You can write a message a busy founder actually wants to reply to - Genuinely curious about startups, technology, and AI - Proactive and detail-oriented: You take ownership and don't wait to be told what to do - Bonus: any experience in sales, lead generation, outreach, or freelancing, and familiarity with CRM/outreach tools (Sales Navigator, Apollo, HubSpot, etc.) Qualifications - Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field is a plus, but hunger and ability matter more than credentials Benefits - Work closely with the founder: Learn how an early-stage tech company actually grows - Real ownership: Your ideas ship, and your work directly moves the business - Uncapped upside: Stipend + performance-based incentives, with no ceiling on what you can earn from results - Path to full-time: Top performers grow into a permanent BD role as we scale - Global exposure: Work with founders and clients across markets - Flexible, fully remote: Work on your own schedule, judged on output not hours
