Key Responsibilities - Support the end-to-end recruiting process (specifically for april Pro and high volume recruitment), including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management - Provide an excellent candidate experience by maintaining clear communication throughout the hiring process - Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and ideal candidate profiles - Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and other recruiting channels - Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams - Gather and organize feedback from interviewers to support hiring decisions - Maintain accurate records in our applicant tracking system - Assist with developing creative recruiting strategies to attract top talent Experience - 2-4 years of recruiting or Talent Acquisition experience - Experience in a startup, tech, or high-growth environment is a major plus - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple open roles and prioritize effectively - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a relationship-building approach - Highly organized with strong attention to detail - Familiarity with sourcing tools, LinkedIn Recruiter, and ATS platforms, Ashby is a plus! - Proactive, self-starter mentality with a willingness to learn - Passion for building amazing and collaborative teams About april april is the only embedded, year-round tax platform built to power smarter financial decisions. About the Role april is seeking a motivated Senior Product Designer to join our Build team. This role is for an individual who takes pride in their work and is excited by the idea of continuous learning. You will own decisions and ship flawless end-to-end flows and experiences across our full suite of products — from consumer-facing solutions to B2B2C experiences and internal tools for business clients. Our team’s focus is to create a best-in-class, human-centric tax experience for everyone we serve. We pride ourselves in reimagining established paradigms and designing innovative solutions to make taxes work for the people. This position is fully remote and candidates must be based in the United States. Team members residing within the New York City metropolitan area must maintain a minimum on-site presence of three days per week. Key Responsibilities Lead the entire design thinking process for significant parts of our multi-platform product suite (consumer, B2B2C, and internal business tools) Contribute to the growth of the product design function while building and communicating best practices across the organization Work directly with our Head of Product Design and Product, Engineering, and Tax Analyst leads to prioritize initiatives to ensure we are solving the right problems Ensure flawless, pixel perfect execution across all areas of the design process while keeping an eye on the bigger picture Regularly conduct research to ensure we are continuously improving the product experience by gathering qualitative and quantitative insights via user research Measure and contribute to business level objectives and key results by ensuring every piece of work you touch is adding value for both the user and the business Partner with the marketing team to ensure our solutions align with our users’ voice and the april brand Experience 6+ years of experience designing and building digital products Knowledge and passion for interaction and visual design Must have a high bar for design quality and be an advocate for clean, elegant, and usable design – you are constantly looking to raise our bar of quality Ability to think at a high level about business objectives Strong collaboration skills and ability to maintain flexibility in an evolving work environment Self-learning individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, conceptual thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills Effective communication skills and the ability to confidently communicate design thinking methodologies and design direction with senior stakeholders, including founders Must be proficient in Figma About april april is the only embedded, year-round tax platform built to power smarter financial decisions.
