About the role The Senior Manager of RCM will lead the day-to-day operations and continuous improvement of our revenue cycle — ensuring clean claims, fast collections, and accurate revenue recognition. You’ll manage internal and outsourced teams responsible for collections, while partnering closely with Finance, Product, and Clinical Operations to drive strong financial performance and operational excellence. Job Details - W2 Employee - Full-Time (Remote) Job Requirements - 3-5 years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management. - Demonstrated success improving key RCM metrics (collection rate, AR days, first-pass yield). - Hands-on experience with EHR, clearinghouse, and billing integrations. - Proven ability to manage vendors and lead internal or outsourced RCM teams. - Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and Mode or similar BI tools. What You’ll Do - Oversee end-to-end revenue operations including claims submission, payment posting, denials, and collections. - Own and optimize end-to-end RCM workflows, which includes several integrated external vendors, ensuring data accuracy, process efficiency, and high collection performance. - Manage the patient billing process and ensure a clear, transparent, and family-friendly billing experience. - Analyze data to uncover operational issues (e.g., coding errors, payer lag) and drive corrective action with Candid and internal partners in Clinical Operations. - Report RCM performance and insights to Finance and executive leadership. - Lead and mentor a small team focused on billing, collections, and denial management. Role Description The Director of Provider Credentialing, Licensing & Payer Enrollment is responsible for the strategic oversight, execution, and continuous improvement of all provider credentialing, re-credentialing, payer enrollment, contracting coordination, and licensure activities across all AnswersNow business entities. - This is a high-visibility leadership role critical to enabling timely provider onboarding, multi-state expansion, and revenue generation. - The Director ensures that providers and groups are credentialed, contracted, and licensed accurately and on time so that services may be delivered, billed, and reimbursed without delay. - This role leads the credentialing team, manages external vendors, partners cross-functionally with RCM, growth, operations, scheduling, and technology teams, and delivers clear, data-driven reporting to executive leadership. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent healthcare experience in credentialing, provider enrollment, or contracts administration. - 3–5+ years of progressive experience in provider credentialing, payer enrollment, or payor relations within an insurance company, hospital system, or large provider group. - Demonstrated experience leading teams and/or managing vendors. - Strong working knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, managed care contracting, and payer enrollment processes. - Proficiency with credentialing systems, payer portals, and reporting tools. This role involves coordinating and managing the flow of incoming requests, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely processing. Evaluate current intake procedures and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Take ownership of the intake process from start to finish, ensuring smooth operations and timely completion of tasks. Supervise and provide leadership to intake specialists, including hiring, training, performance management, and professional development. Develop and implement standardized workflows for handling incoming requests, including prioritization and allocation of resources. Collaborate with various departments to understand their intake-related needs and requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and completeness of intake data and documentation. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the intake process and implement strategies for continuous improvement. Provide training and guidance to intake specialists to ensure adherence to established procedures and standards. Identify and leverage technology solutions to automate and streamline the intake process where possible.
