Altagram Group - Game Localization

• Own and evolve the codebase alongside other developers, as well as the technology infrastructure behind our products • Build and maintain both backend services and user-facing features, from API design to component implementation to end-to-end workflows • Translate designs and wireframes into well-structured, testable, and scalable code • Use AI-powered coding assistants and development tools as part of your daily workflow: writing, reviewing, and shipping code more efficiently • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and reliability • Review other engineers' work, including evaluating AI-generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability • Contribute to technical decisions and architecture discussions with a mindset toward scalability, modularity, and clean separation of concerns • Stay curious about emerging technologies, particularly in AI tooling and LLM capabilities, and proactively propose ways to improve our products and workflows • Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams, understanding that great products need a tight feedback loop between development and product

• Conduct thorough analysis and preparation of diverse source files and formats to optimize localization project workflows. • Partner with various teams to enhance their workflows, assisting with repetitive and specialized tasks to improve overall efficiency. • Actively participate in internal calls to provide support to localization engineers and project managers. • Offer comprehensive assistance to the entire team in utilizing our tools and resolving any technical challenges that may arise.

• Oversee the translation, editing, and proofreading of English video game content from Simplified Chinese into English • Act as linguistic quality owner for assigned projects and IPs • Ensure consistency with established style guides, glossaries, and terminology • Perform linguistic QA (LQA), including bug identification, classification, and follow-up • Provide clear, constructive linguistic feedback to translators and vendors • Support and guide external linguists, acting as a point of reference for quality and tone • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, QA, Audio, and Production teams • Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and improvement of linguistic assets • Represent linguistic quality in communication with client stakeholders
