Role Description We're hiring — Freelance Listing Optimisation & Operations Specialist. Airhosted is a Swiss short-term rental management company. We manage 60+ properties across 20+ cities and work with a lean, remote-first team that runs on performance, hospitality tech, and clean processes. You'll work directly alongside our Revenue Strategist on listing optimisation across Airbnb and our other distribution channels. This is a collaborative, hands-on working relationship with continuous direction and feedback — not an isolated task queue. What you'll be working on: - Listing optimisation — keeping listings performing at their best across platforms, including titles, descriptions, photo ordering, amenity tags, and understanding how changes affect search visibility and conversion. - Cross-platform content consistency — managing the full propagation of listing changes (new photos, updated amenities, seasonal description tweaks) across all OTAs and updating Airtable and Notion without prompting. - Back office discipline — ensuring content distributed across platforms matches what's stored centrally, requiring precision and a methodical approach. - Analytics & performance tracking — monitoring conversion rate, click-through rate, and search ranking, flagging anomalies, and connecting numerical insights to potential causes. We run a weekly team alignment and communicate daily via Slack. You manage your own deadlines and work independently between check-ins. Qualifications - Hands-on experience in listing optimisation — professionally, not just as a host. - Experience working on multiple properties with a track record of improving performance. - Deep working knowledge of Airbnb — the algorithm, ranking factors, listing structure, and optimisation levers. - Experience with a channel manager and/or property management system in a multi-OTA environment. - Comfortable in Airtable and Notion. - Structured, methodical, and able to manage your own workload across multiple properties. Requirements - Process-oriented mindset — defining how things work and improving existing processes. - Ability to flag inefficiencies and propose better solutions. - Consistency as a baseline and a focus on making the system smarter over time. Role Description As our Operations Specialist, you’ll take ownership of operational efficiency across Airhosted. Your mission: optimize workflows, lead new property onboardings, and make sure we fully leverage our PMS (Guesty) and connected tools such as Operto and Chekin, and new ones to come. You’ll work directly with our founder and operations team to define better processes and implement automation for a leaner, smarter operation. - Lead property onboardings end-to-end: system setup, automations, task flows, check-in setup, etc. - Redefine and document operational processes for scalability and efficiency. - Leverage Guesty to its full capacity (automations, task management, API integrations, reports, guest journeys). - Manage and optimize integrations with Operto, Chekin, PriceLabs, and other STR tools. - Collaborate with internal teams (guest support, cleaning, owner relations) to improve communication and workflows. - Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements and automations. - Support day-to-day PMS operations and troubleshooting. Qualifications - Extensive experience with Guesty (MUST) – deep understanding of features and automations. - Hands-on experience with Operto, Chekin, and other STR management tools. - Process-driven mindset – you love building order and efficiency. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills in English (German a plus). - Self-starter – proactive, independent, and detail-oriented. - Previous experience in short-term rental management or hospitality tech. Requirements - Familiarity with the AI landscape in short-term rentals – understanding which AI tools and automations (e.g. AI messaging, dynamic pricing, guest review management, analytics, etc.) can be implemented to improve operations and efficiency.
