Role Description We’re looking for a Social Media & Content Creator based in County Mayo who will go directly to clients, capture authentic on-location content, and transform it into scroll-stopping reels, posts, and campaigns across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. This isn’t a ‘sit at home and schedule posts’ role. You’ll be on the road, behind the camera, and in the edit. You understand how organic content connects to paid media. You know what makes a reel go viral, and you know how to do it again. Tasks - Content Creation - Plan and execute on-location content shoots at client premises across County Mayo, photo, video, and short-form content. - Produce high-quality Instagram Reels, Stories, carousels, Facebook posts, and TikTok videos tailored to each client’s brand and audience. - Edit and post-produce all content to a professional standard using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or equivalent tools. - Write captions, hooks, and calls to action that are on-brand, platform-native, and built to drive action. - Develop and manage monthly content calendars for multiple client accounts across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. - Social Media Management & Growth - Manage and grow client social accounts with clear intent, not just posting, but building an audience. - Monitor performance metrics: reach, engagement rate, follower growth, saves, and shares, and use that data to shape the next month’s content. - Stay ahead of platform algorithm changes, trending formats, and what’s working on Instagram and TikTok right now. - Collaborate with Aella’s paid media team; you understand how organic content feeds paid campaigns and you create content that works for both. - Deliver monthly performance updates for each client account: clear, honest, and forward-looking. Qualifications - A portfolio of content you’ve created that performed, real accounts, real metrics you can share with us. - Confident in short-form video: shooting, editing, and storytelling for Instagram Reels and TikTok. - Strong working knowledge of Instagram and Facebook, how the algorithms work, what drives reach, and how to grow an account with intention. - Comfortable capturing great content independently on location, phone or camera, no direction needed. - Visiting clients regularly across County Mayo. - Strong written English, for captions, briefs, and client communication. - Based in or around County Mayo, Ireland. - Experience managing social media professionally for businesses or brands. - Familiarity with Meta Business Suite or scheduling tools such as Later, Buffer, or Metricool. - Basic graphic design in Canva or Adobe. - Understanding of how organic content supports paid social campaigns. - Using AI on a daily basis. Benefits - A team that trusts your creative instincts and gives you space to make great work. - Flexibility in how you structure your week, with clear briefs and a solid strategy behind every account. - Outcome and value first role. - Real ownership - you manage clients and directly drive client growth. - A creative freelance role with real variety, no two weeks are the same. - Build a strong portfolio working with exciting local and national brands. - Working directly with the founders. - Remote first. - Birthday Leave. - 5 days a week.
