Role Description We're looking for a Working Student to join the Programs Team at the adidas Foundation, where we harness the power of sport to address societal and environmental challenges. You'll support the team across programs, research, and the day-to-day coordination that keeps initiatives moving, with regular touchpoints across the rest of the Foundation. It's a chance to engage directly with the world of sport for good, and to develop real, transferable skills along the way: project management, research, stakeholder collaboration, and event coordination. Key Stats - Department: Programs Team - Reporting Line: Program Manager - Country: Germany - Location: Up to 100% remote with occasional opportunity to travel to Nuremberg - Weekly Hours: 16-20 hours - Salary: 15 €/h Bachelor Students; 17 €/h Master Students - Planned Starting Date: September 1, 2026 Your Day-To-Day - Support the Programs team in the implementation of foundation programs, with exposure to program strategy, partner engagement, and internal coordination. - Contribute to program research and analysis, including desk research on social impact themes, trends in sport for development, and best practices from the non-profit sector, to support project development across the team. - Support the planning and delivery of program workshops, meetings, and events, both virtual and in-person. This includes preparing agendas and materials, drafting follow-up summaries, communicating with partners, and handling on-site logistics such as venue bookings and vendor coordination. - Support grantmaking and partner management processes, including partner vetting and due diligence during application periods, and help maintain program-related documentation. - Act as a first point of contact for shared foundation inboxes, routing messages to the right owners and flagging urgent items; a useful window into how the Foundation's work fits together across teams. - Support project management across Programs team initiatives as needed, helping coordinate and track progress, and gaining visibility into how sport-for-good programs are designed and delivered. - Participate in selected internal program meetings, Communities of Practice, and occasional partner touchpoints as a listener and support function, gaining insight into program strategy and partner engagement. - Support the creation of summary and presentation slide decks (PowerPoint, Canva), primarily for internal audiences. The People You'll Work With - adidas Foundation’s Programs department - Program Partners, Community Representatives - Non-Profit Organizations / Partners - External vendors and consultants Qualifications - Strong interest in sports, social impact, and sustainability. - Strong research skills, spanning desk research, synthesizing information from multiple sources, and summarizing findings clearly for internal audiences. - Early exposure or coursework in project management, event coordination, or team collaboration. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders. - A positive, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for social justice and environmental sustainability. - Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse, collaborative team, with flexibility and openness to take on varied tasks as the team's needs evolve. Your Fundamentals - Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business Administration, Development Studies, Sports Management, Social Sciences, or a related field at a German university or college (Fachhochschule), with at least one year remaining before graduation. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Canva, and experience with project management software (e.g., SmartSheet) is a plus. - Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
