Role Description Adams Clinical is seeking a highly organized and proactive Sales Operations associate to join our growing clinical trial site network. This is a growth position for an experienced Sales Operations Professional with an established track record of supporting sales operations, budget management, and contract administration with pharmaceutical and biotech clients. Prior experience with budget and contract negotiation for a commercial site network or as a site budget negotiator at a Pharma/CRO company is strongly preferred. - Budget Management: Collaborate with the Business Development team to prepare and adjust clinical trial budgets. - Contracts Administration: Assist in contract preparation, review, and negotiation, ensuring compliance and accurate records. - Sales Support: Manage sales pipeline, update CRM, prepare performance reports, and iterate on novel pricing models, including competitive research and benchmarking. - Process Improvement: Recommend improvements in sales, budgeting, and contract workflows. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with legal, finance, and operations teams to support budget and contract goals. - Cross train to support other Business Development functions including: startup activities, Feasibility & Site Evaluation, and other activities in support of Adams Clinical’s business development objectives. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field - At least 3 years of experience in sales operations, budget management, or contract administration in clinical research or healthcare with significant individual responsibility - Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, budgets, and contracts. - Experience with research, especially in pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; CRM software (Salesforce) required with Salesforce administration and advanced reporting skills preferred. - Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Requirements - Full-time with standard 9 AM – 5 PM EST hours. - Remote with occasional travel (<10 days/year). Job Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Inside Sales and Marketing Specialist to join our growing clinical trial site network within the Business Development team. This critical role supports identification of new potential study opportunities within our core focus areas in Psychiatry and Alzheimer’s Disease and drives execution of marketing strategy to raise awareness of Adams Clinical’s capabilities. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and qualify new clinical trial opportunities through pipeline research, stakeholder outreach, and scheduling initial client meetings, while aligning targeting strategies with Business Development. - Maintain an accurate early‑stage opportunity pipeline in Salesforce, including contact attempts, notes, and next steps to ensure seamless continuity across the BD team. - Support B2B marketing initiatives by identifying opportunities, developing materials (web, conference, press, etc.), and building targeted contact databases. - Contribute to conference strategy and execution, including pre‑event outreach, sponsorship/exhibit coordination, team preparation, and administrative logistics as needed. - Provide cross‑functional support by assisting with CDAs, feasibility questionnaires, budget/contract tasks, study startup activities, and other departmental needs, including occasional administrative support. What Success Looks like - 2–5+ years of experience in clinical research, ideally within a Sales or Marketing environment. - Candidates with strong clinical operations experience who are interested in transitioning into a Sales/Marketing role are also encouraged to apply. - Solid understanding of the clinical trial ecosystem and the roles of sponsor and CRO stakeholders. - Exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CTMS or other project‑tracking tools is preferred. - Strong ability to prioritize, work independently, and manage multiple studies in a fast‑paced setting.
