Role Description ArtU is seeking a Director of AI Strategy to serve as a trusted internal advisor to academic and administrative leadership. This role will lead the development and execution of institution-wide AI strategies that support creative excellence, student success, workforce readiness, and operational effectiveness. The Director of AI Strategy combines strategic thinking and vision, executive advisory skills, and practical execution, translating emerging AI technologies into responsible, human-centered solutions aligned with the university’s mission and values. Responsibilities - Strategic Advisory & Leadership - Serve as a trusted advisor to university leadership on AI, emerging technologies, and digital transformation. - Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable strategies for non-technical stakeholders. - Facilitate executive-level discussions to define AI vision, priorities, and enterprise-wide decision-making. - AI Assessment & Readiness - Lead comprehensive AI capability and readiness assessments across academic and administrative units, including: - Evaluation of current-state of employees, processes including workflows across departments, technologies, data, and tools. - Identification of gaps, risks, and opportunities related to AI adoption, governance, and workforce readiness. - Synthesis of findings into concise, actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders. - Strategy & Roadmap Development - Develop and maintain AI strategy roadmaps aligned with University objectives, including student success, faculty support, creative innovation, and operational efficiency. - Design phased implementation plans that balance innovation, feasibility, risk management, and human impact. - Define success metrics and expected outcomes, including adoption, maturity, and capability development. - Enablement, Governance & Responsible AI - Advise on AI enablement strategies, including governance frameworks, ethical use, accessibility, academic integrity, and responsible AI practices. - Support workforce transformation through learning strategies, training programs, and capability building. - Evaluate and recommend build vs. buy decisions for AI tools, platforms, and solutions. - Engagement & Facilitation - Design and lead workshops, executive briefings, and AI use case discovery sessions for diverse audiences, including faculty, administrators, and creative practitioners. - Partner with stakeholders to identify high-value, responsible AI use cases across academic, creative, and operational domains. Qualifications - Demonstrated experience in AI strategy, digital transformation, technology consulting, or a related field. - Proven ability to advise and collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders. - Strong conceptual understanding of AI, data, and cloud technologies, with the ability to communicate clearly to non-technical audiences. - Experience leading assessments, developing strategic roadmaps, and supporting implementation efforts. - Excellent facilitation, storytelling, and presentation skills. Role Description The International Admissions Specialist is responsible for consistently enrolling, registering, and maintaining relationships with potential international students to provide them with an excellent admissions experience. This position is a fully remote opportunity, candidates must be able to work Tuesday - Saturday and flexibility is needed to accommodate overseas calls. - Discuss enrollment via phone, email, and limited face-to-face conversations with international prospects in Asia and other countries. - Inspire, motivate, and engage prospective students and families through various communication channels. - Manage all entering undergraduate and graduate international applications for all school enrollment semesters. - Assist students in completing the application process, coordinating the processing of the USCIS form and I-20. - Educate and advise international students on USCIS rules and regulations pertaining to I-20/F-1 status. - Work closely with various departments to facilitate the new student’s successful enrollment. - Interact professionally with prospects, applicants, students, parents, and staff. - Assist with and participate in the International Student Check-In/Orientation as needed. - Be highly organized, present a professional image, and demonstrate strong time management skills. - Be reliable, responsible, and a team player to help the international team reach its goals. - Send updates, announcements, and news via the mass-email feature in Salesforce to leads, prospects, and applicants as needed. The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis | Treasury Analyst (FP&A), serves as a key strategic finance leader within the university's Division of Finance. This position is responsible for directing comprehensive financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions while also overseeing treasury operations and institutional cash management. The Manager partners closely with University departments to provide actionable financial insights, supports multi-year budget development, leads cash flow forecasting, and assists in ensuring the university's short and long-term liquidity needs are met in alignment with institutional priorities and policy. The position reports to the Executive Vice President for Finance (EVPF). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Financial Planning & Analysis - Lead the development, coordination, and monitoring of the university's annual operating budget and multi-year financial plans under the direction of the EVPF and in collaboration with senior leadership. - Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including variance analyses, trend reporting, and KPI dashboards to the EVPF and other key leaders. - Conduct financial modeling, scenario analyses, and business case development to support institutional decision-making, new program launches, capital projects, and strategic initiatives. - Design and maintain financial forecasting models across all revenue and expense categories, including tuition, grants, auxiliary operations, and other funding. - Partner departmental leadership to provide budget guidance, improve financial literacy, and support unit-level planning. - Develop and refine financial policies, internal controls, and standard operating procedures to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes in coordination with the EVPF. Treasury & Cash Management - Monitor and assist in managing the university's daily cash position, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational obligations. - Develop and maintain rolling 13-week and 12-month cash flow forecasts; monitor variances and communicate risks and opportunities to the EVPF. - Assist in maintaining banking relationships, including management of banking services including depository accounts, sweep accounts, wires, and ACH transactions. - Coordinate with external auditors and investment managers for year-end reporting, audit inquiries, and compliance activities. - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Evaluate and implement process improvements and technology solutions to enhance financial reporting, forecasting, and treasury automation. - Ensure compliance with GAAP, FASB, federal and state regulations, and university financial policies. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field. - Five (5) or more years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis or related field. - Demonstrated experience building and maintaining complex financial models and cash flow forecasting tools. - Proficiency with ERP financial systems (e.g., Workday, PeopleSoft) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. - Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles; familiarity with GASB or FASB standards as applicable to higher education. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data for non-financial stakeholders. - Credit and Background Check is Required.
