Role Description To coordinate, plan & deliver day-to-day team tasks & activities in order to execute building services accurately & timeously in support of org. policy compliance through the execution of predefined objectives as per agreed SOPs. - Conduct Physical Inspections at dealers as per the approved frequency. - Draw inspection lists of vehicles on a Dealer's Wholesale Finance account via the Geolock system. - Conduct a physical inspection of each vehicle by comparing or matching the details of the vehicle. - Note the condition of the vehicle on the inspection report for vehicles found in an unsalable condition. - Physically inspect vehicles reported by the Dealer to be at Third party premises. - Verify ownership of vehicles by checking original Natis documents. - Plan and schedule routes appropriately for inspections. - Email route planning for the month to the Wholesale Finance Line Manager. - Verify vehicles reported "Settled" by obtaining proof of payment from the dealership. - Make a note of all vehicles that are settled and email proof of payment obtained from the dealer. - Indicate the date on which a vehicle is delivered to a client. - Bring to the dealer's attention all vehicles outstanding on their Wholesale Finance that have already matured. - Ensure that proof of payment and proof of delivery is verified on all sold/delivered vehicles. - Ensure that all sold/delivered vehicles that have passed the payment frequency period are settled. - Back office staff must follow up on units marked as sold and ensure settlement within 72 hours. - Identify and escalate possible risk to line manager immediately. - Report any irregularities to the regions and participate in decision making. - DPP Facilities must strictly be adhered to. - Act as a liaison between the Dealers and the Wholesale Finance & Dealer Relations department. - Provide process and procedure training to Dealers. - Liaise with line manager, Provincial heads, and Business Development Officers. - Discuss utilization and provide feedback to the business Analyst. • Provide customers with a mortgage solution at their convenience and in the process deliver on contracted sales targets through the delivery of superior customer service. • Maintain visibility, presence and networks with all Internal and External business partners. • Engage with existing customers, identified through the relevant lead generation process, to establish possible re-mortgage needs and provide advice on mortgage lending. • Travel to and meet with prospective customers or sources, at a place and time of their convenience, providing mortgage customer solutions, assisting in completing and submitting the application with all required supporting documents to the Production Centre for processing. • Manage and track all submitted deals into the Production Centre by following the agreed tracking process and keep the customer and source informed of the progress and/or status of the application. • Maintain agreed conversion ratios on Submission-to- Final Grant and Final Grant-to-Attorney Instruction, as per the Absa Home Loan process. • Monitor, track and engage on Bonds post Instruction with the respective attorney panel. • Continuously explore and investigate all opportunities (e.g. Property shows, Auctions, Show houses, etc.) in order to increase sources of business and sales intake. • Keep abreast of competitor activities by studying all available information (e.g. newspaper articles, Marketing campaigns, Social Media) in order to proactively offer solutions to customers and sources. • Provide superior customer service by proactively and timeously obtaining outstanding documentation to ensure complete applications Ensure that any query or complaint received from a customer is acknowledged and resolved as per laid down process. • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering outstanding customer service in line with the TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) principles which will result in increased sales and retention of Home Loans customers. • Maximise on cross cell opportunities by way of Value added products such as Property Insurance, Life cover and New to Bank transactional accounts.
