• Promoting and driving the company’s safety culture within the Safety Specialist’s geographic area of oversight. • Manage the investigations of occupational injuries/illnesses to determine OSHA Recordability status; Recommend and implement appropriate corrective action measures. • Utilize reporting and trend analysis to communicate safety performance within the area of oversight. • Develop and implement improvement programs for markets and territories experiencing safety challenges. • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local health and safety laws and regulations, including OSHA and Department of Labor requirements, within the assigned area.
