Qualifications - 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator, Database Engineer, or Data Platform Engineer. - Strong experience administering Microsoft SQL Server environments. - Experience with PostgreSQL or other enterprise relational databases. - Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Azure Cosmos DB, or similar document/key-value stores. - Strong expertise in relational and non-relational data modeling. - Experience designing and governing schema changes and database migrations. - Experience supporting legacy system modernization and database transformation projects. - Strong SQL query optimization, indexing, and database performance tuning skills. - Experience with ETL, ELT, data synchronization, or data movement pipelines. - Understanding of Change Data Capture (CDC) and cross-platform data synchronization strategies. - Experience with Microsoft Azure database services and cloud-hosted environments. - Knowledge of backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery processes. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills. - Strong written and verbal English communication skills. Role Description Netrix Global is seeking a Database Associate to support operational database tasks across Client environments. As a contributing member of the broader Database Services team, this role involves: - Executing structured support requests - Managing report deployments - Assisting with data movement and cleanup operations under the guidance of senior SME Database Engineers Support service includes: - Executing predefined SQL scripts - Conducting data provisioning and decommissioning activities such as inserts, updates, and deletes - Managing Azure Storage Account requests and supporting historical data loads - Deploying reports and handling user access requests - Participating in go-live events - Supporting Azure Data Services (ADS) document loads - Documenting completed tasks to maintain transparency and audit readiness As a member of the team, you will be on a structured on-call rotation that includes: - 24x7 support coverage for critical activities such as production releases - High-priority service requests - Tasks requiring execution during off-hours This role is designed to help maintain the reliability of Client's data operations and will focus primarily on day-to-day support and task execution unless directed otherwise by the service manager.
