What You’ll Do:
The Complaint Coordinator – Infant Formula is responsible for handling infant formula complaints from the initiation of triage to quality closure. This role will work closely with the Quality Manager for Release and Complaints, the Senior Director of Quality, the Customer Satisfaction Team and Contract Manufacturer(s) to ensure Munchkin’s complaint management process meets all internal procedures and regulatory requirements to ensure food safety and compliance. This role is responsible for execution of Munchkin’s policies, procedures, and electronic systems related to Complaint Management as well as continuous improvement initiatives to maintain the highest level of formula safety and quality. The role functions as an early-warning system for safety and quality risks while enabling scalable growth through disciplined management and escalation of consumer data.
How you will contribute:
- Responsible for the Infant Formula Complaint Program:
- Complaint Management Systems (DOT Complaint and SalesForce CRN), Triage, Investigations, CAPA, Trending, Escalation
- Ensure all complaint records are complete, accurate, inspection-ready and compliant with Munchkin procedures and regulatory requirements
- Manage complaints in a timely and efficient manner
- Coordinate investigations, track status, and maintain documentation throughout the complaint lifecycle
- Monitor and identify emerging trends or patterns in consumer feedback that may indicate quality, manufacturing, formulation, or safety issues
- Prepare and maintain monthly Quality metrics (KPI’s) and reports for Quality Management Review, providing insights into process improvements and risk mitigation
- Ensure timely and accurate escalation to Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, and Legal as required
- Review and assist with drafting controlled document procedures related to complaint handling.
- Support internal audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives related to complaint handling and post-market surveillance
- Provide reports for complaints for audits and inspections (e.g. FDA and / or third-party audits / certifications (e.g. SQF, Kosher, Organic)
- Comply with all policies and procedures
Bring It!
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, nutrition, healthcare, quality, regulatory affairs, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, quality, regulatory, or compliance roles within a regulated industry (e.g., food, dietary supplements, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or infant nutrition preferred)
- Experience with infant formula, pediatric nutrition, or maternal-infant health products strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of FDA complaint handling, adverse event reporting, and quality systems
- Familiarity with HACCP, Preventive Controls, and GFSI-recognized standards; HACCP and FSMA (PCQI) certifications preferred
- Experience supporting audits, inspections, and/or regulated complaint management systems
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as Document Control and Quality Management Systems

Salary range: $75,000 - $85,000
