Senior Data Engineer
PLATO
• Design and deliver scalable Oracle-based data solutions, including XMLType and schema-based structures. • Develop and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines for data integration, migration, and deployment. • Create and support Oracle PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements, design relational schemas, and optimize data flows. • Analyze and optimize Oracle SQL performance through query tuning, execution plan analysis, and indexing strategies. • Establish and enforce data governance, security, data quality, and validation standards. • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance on complex data engineering challenges. • Evaluate new Oracle features, ETL technologies, and data engineering best practices to support continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Active Reliability Security Clearance or higher.
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, database development, and data integration.
- Extensive expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, ETL development, and ETL pipelines, with expert level proficiency.
- Experience with Oracle XMLType, schema-based database structures, and database performance optimization.
- Strong experience developing Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Experience with SQL tuning, execution plan analysis, and database optimization.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, data integrity, and data validation practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
