Occupational Therapist

Celebrations Speech Group Inc.

• Conduct virtual evaluations using standardized assessment tools • Provide teletherapy services to pediatric clients • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans • Complete evaluation reports and maintain timely, accurate SOAP documentation • Provide caregiver consultation and education • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy
  • Current, active California Occupational Therapy license in good standing (or eligible)
  • Minimum 3 years of pediatric experience preferred
  • Teletherapy experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results. - Treatment and Education: Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders; monitor and adjust treatment plans; educate and support patients and families on disorders, treatment strategies, and daily communication improvement. - Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards. - Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed. Qualifications - Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution. - Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible - Certification: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP). - Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
