PS Technologies

• Provide power system protection services including system model development, short circuit analysis, relay settings development, area coordination studies, standards development, relay operation analysis, and technical reviews of drawings and relay settings • Support project delivery from the protection team led by the Protection Supervisor • Mentor less experienced engineers via direct training and technical review of work

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years protection engineering experience
  • Proficient in ASPEN Oneliner software
  • In-depth knowledge of system protection coordination and philosophy
  • Working knowledge of common power system high voltage apparatus and IBR (inverter-based resource)
  • Proficiency in Siemens APA (formerly CAPE) or ETAP is considered an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Commitment to quality and accuracy
  • Willingness to meet fast-paced project schedules
  • P.Eng. license is required
  • US PE license may be required

This role will be hands-on, working closely with architects, data scientists, and customers to build, optimize, and deploy high-performance data and AI solutions. As a Databricks Engineer, you will be responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines, implementing data processing frameworks, and enabling AI/ML solutions within Databricks. You will work across data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration while ensuring scalability, performance, and security. This is a technical hands-on role, requiring expertise in Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and MLOps, as well as experience working with large-scale data architectures.
