Data Scientist – Senior Data Analyst

Reef Group

• Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to identify patterns, trends, and operational insights • Develop analytical models and data-driven recommendations to support mission and business objectives • Support predictive analytics, statistical analysis, and advanced analytical efforts • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand operational questions and translate them into analytical solutions • Develop dashboards, visualizations, and decision-support products where appropriate • Clean, validate, and prepare data to support high-quality analysis • Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences • Support data modernization and analytics initiatives within federal environments • Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and analytical best practices

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Public Health, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, analytics, or data science roles
  • Experience using analytical tools or languages such as Python, R, SQL, or comparable technologies
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting complex datasets
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in client-facing and cross-functional environments
