• Responsible for the direction and performance of all designs, procurement, construction and set-up for future operations on a specific project to ensure the work is performed in conformance to the project objectives and requirements. • Responsible for project schedule, cost and quality. • Represent the interests of Cordia during all project activities. • Prepare and monitor compliance with the Project Execution Plan and Project Charter. • Advise management on progress, costs, schedules, and client relations at regular intervals. • Responsible for ensuring Job Status Reports (Internal and external) are properly reviewed with the project team prior to issuance. • Monitor the contractors’ performance against schedule and budget, identifying and rectifying deviations. • Support commercial agreement development and negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers. • Monitor and guide engineering development. • Monitor and guide procurement activities. • Define path of construction, resource plan and implement plan. • Implement and maintain effective management, planning, and cost control systems. • Monitor the contractors’ quality control procedures, rectify deviations. • Monitor the contractors’ adherence to project safety procedures rectify deviations. • Implement and maintain an effective HSE, QC and QA process for the project team. • Identify, evaluate and mitigate risks that may have an impact on the project. • Assure effective contingency plans for potential problems are maintained. • Manage the change process for all contractors. • Evaluate and negotiate change orders, claims or disputes with contractors. • Certify payments to the contractors. • Establish and maintain communications and document control to ensure the accurate and timely flow of information. • Monitor Project compliance with Contract obligations.

• Hands-on technical management role. The Engineering Manager has the depth to drop into code when the team needs them - debugging critical production issues, unblocking engineers, validating architectural decisions, and coaching through code. • Owns the strategic relationship with external delivery partners for digital product execution; holds them accountable to staffing commitments, capability standards, and role-level expectations (tech lead, scrum master, developers) across pods. • Ensures vendor engineers assigned to each pod have the right expertise; addresses skill gaps through staffing decisions, coaching, or replacement. • Owns the long-term internal-vs-vendor balance - what stays with vendors, what transitions in-house. Creates and executes a 12-18 month transition roadmap sequenced by risk and value. • Hire and manage the internal engineering team– Recruit engineers as needed and directs the team's work, ensures quality and delivery, and evolves scope away from content updates toward higher-value development work. • Owns hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development. • Builds the internal team over time - identifies roles to bring in-house, hires against them, grows engineers from within. • Sets the cadence of 1:1s, team rituals, and engineering operating norms; builds a culture of ownership, quality, and partnership with Product. • Identifies and plans technical debt remediation across both stacks; conducts regular audits of code quality and architecture health across pods. • Maintains cross-pod engineering consistency - code standards, deployment practices, quality bar, enable achievement of the user experience goals. • Owns platform operational reliability - uptime, incident response health, post-mortem follow-through.

• Serve as the senior hardware engineering leader for the Critical Infrastructure department, with primary accountability for PLC / SCADA-based engineering execution across CI projects. • Establish, maintain, and improve department standards, design practices, workflows, and deliverable expectations for mission critical control systems, industrial control panels, field integration, and related hardware engineering. • Provide technical leadership for complex control system applications supporting central utility plants, technical water systems, airside systems, heat rejection systems, EPMS integrations, and other mission critical infrastructure. • Partner with software engineering leadership to ensure alignment between hardware design and software implementation, while maintaining clear ownership of hardware engineering standards and deliverables. • Provide senior engineering leadership to ensure CI projects are set up for success, including technical strategy, review structure, resource alignment, and early identification of engineering risk. • Lead or support engineering strategy for first-of-a-kind programs, new client standards, and highly complex projects where execution depends on development of new frameworks, technical approaches, and repeatable delivery methods. • Maintain accountability for the overall quality, consistency, and completeness of hardware engineering deliverables across the CI department. • Ensure quality control processes and technical reviews are clearly defined and executed by Level 5 lead engineers and other designated reviewers. • Intervene as needed on high-risk, technically complex, or strategically important projects requiring senior-level engineering leadership. • Assign engineering resources based on project size, technical complexity, client requirements, schedule demands, and staff development needs. • Partner with the Director of Engineering and Director of Critical Infrastructure on hiring, staffing strategy, organizational planning, and capability development for the CI engineering team. • Develop technical leaders within the department and establish training priorities related to PLC platforms, SCADA systems, industrial control panels, mission critical applications, engineering standards, and review practices. • Build department capability through standardization, mentoring, and continuous improvement to support large-scale and mega-scale CI growth. • Support business development, preconstruction, and department leadership on upcoming opportunities by providing technical input on control architecture, engineering risk, staffing, and delivery approach. • Participate in client-facing discussions for major pursuits, first-of-a-kind opportunities, and strategic programs requiring deep PLC / SCADA and mission critical engineering expertise. • Coordinate with project management, construction leadership, BIM / VDC, procurement, commissioning, software leadership, and executive leadership to align engineering priorities with project and business objectives. • Communicate engineering risks, quality concerns, staffing needs, and technical priorities clearly across the organization. • Completion of Assigned Tasks and Deliverables on Time and on Budget. • Performs Other Related Duties as Assigned.
