• Guide complex initiatives from initial requirements gathering and robust system design to deployment, effectively evaluating dependent technologies and collaborating closely with stakeholders. • Build scalable data infrastructure and shape the developer experience, tackling projects such as owning data cataloging, versioning, and lineage to support seamless research and production workflows. • Provide technical guidance to both engineering and research staff, fostering a supportive environment that accelerates the growth of your teammates.

• Developing software and tooling to facilitate greater automation, support, maintenance, and operability of services. • Use data to understand the availability, reliability, and sustainability of our infrastructure. • Actively engage in systems hardening and compliance (e.g., SOC2, FedRAMP). • Work with product and engineering leadership to set strategy, priorities, and mission for the Infrastructure team.

• Own the infrastructure and control plane powering Restate Cloud. • Enable BYOC and self-hosted deployments. • Ensure reliability, observability, and operational excellence across the fleet. • Create automation and tooling to allow the platform to scale efficiently. • Manage production operations and participate in the cloud on-call rotation. • Operate across networking, storage, Kubernetes, cloud APIs, observability, and infrastructure automation from design through production.
