Job Description
Senior Frontend UX Engineer
Hubs.is
• Lead the end-to-end implementation of user-facing features, from concept to release. • Translate design ideas into seamless, performant, and accessible experiences. • Work closely with product management, design council, and backend team to ensure interactions are both elegant and technically sound. • Bring attention to detail and polish — raising the bar and reducing rework by getting things right the first time. • Help shape best practices for frontend development in a growing, ambitious team.
Job Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in React (and ideally Next.js or similar SSR frameworks)
- Strong background in real-time applications (WebSockets, CRDTs/OT collaboration patterns)
- Deep experience with CSS architecture, animation libraries, and building pixel-perfect UIs
- Familiarity with performance optimization (lazy-loading, memoization, bundle optimization)
- Strong grasp of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design principles
- Passion for creating experiences, not just interfaces
- Ability to simplify complex workflows into elegant, intuitive interactions
- Obsessive attention to micro-interactions, motion, and polish
- Aesthetic sense for color, typography, and spacing that builds user trust and delight
- Experience with collaborative or interactive apps (e.g. Figma, Notion, Miro, Google Docs-like systems)
- Proactive, "product-first" approach
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with designers, PMs, and backend engineers
Benefits
- Competitive salary
- Chance for participation in upside via stock plans
- Flexibility of a remote-first environment

Senior Frontend Engineer – Product-minded
Atria AIThe most powerful ad creation & management platform in existence
• You’ll build the frontend experiences that power Atria’s core product workflows, turning complex advertising logic, AI capabilities, and product intent into clear, intuitive, and scalable user experiences. • Build and own high-quality frontend experiences for Atria’s core product workflows • Translate ambiguous product intent, complex business logic, and AI capabilities into clear interaction models and implementation plans • Drive end-to-end delivery from requirement clarification and solution design to implementation, launch, and iteration • Use AI-native development workflows to accelerate iteration and explore more effective ways of building product • Operate with high ownership in a small team and independently push through complex, ambiguous problems
• Build and own high-quality frontend experiences for Atria's AI Agent product, which demands relatively complex and forward-looking performance optimization and interaction design • Translate ambiguous product intent, AI capabilities, and product logic into clear interaction models and implementation plans • Drive end-to-end delivery from requirement clarification and solution design to implementation, launch, and iteration • Use AI-native development workflows to accelerate iteration and tackle complex problems • Operate with high ownership and independently carry complex, ambiguous projects through to delivery
• Own the front-end architecture end to end for a greenfield product: assess what's been built so far, decide what to keep and what to rethink, then build it. • Design and build the UI for a customer-facing product, bringing real product and UX sense, not just technical execution. • Build and maintain the front-end (we lean TypeScript, but we care far more about your track record than an exact stack match). • Contribute to the backend as needed: understand databases, data structures, and overall system design well enough to build and reason about APIs (Node.js or Go, technology agnostic). • Take true end-to-end ownership: propose the approach, defend it, then build it, without waiting for someone else to set the direction. • Build inside a fully AI-driven workflow, using tools like Claude Code as a core part of how you ship, not an occasional assist. • Operate comfortably in a small, fast moving, ambiguous environment where priorities shift and you're often defining the "how," not just executing a pre-set plan.
• Architect and deliver complex, scalable frontend systems. • Partner with Product Managers to co-author requirements and shape the scope. • Lead technical decision-making for medium-to-large scoped features. • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pair programming. • Take ownership of the frontend stack by proactively identifying bottlenecks. • Advocate for and drive best practices in React, TypeScript, and web performance optimization. • Collaborate with Data Science and Backend Engineers to ensure seamless data flow.
