Global Electrical Design Manager

VOLTA

• Own the electrical reference designs used across all Volta projects • Govern application of standard designs on each project and manage deviations with discipline • Assure project electrical design from utility intake and MV distribution through to the rack • Review consultant and contractor electrical deliverables against fleet standards • Support power architecture decisions for high-density NVIDIA Vera deployments • Work with procurement on specifications for long-lead electrical equipment • Feed commissioning and operational lessons back into the reference designs • Coach project design leads on electrical standards and practice

Job Requirements

  • Data center electrical design experience is essential
  • Deep knowledge of MV and LV distribution, standby generation and UPS systems
  • A record governing design standards across multiple projects or a fleet
  • Experience reviewing and assuring consultant and contractor design work
  • Familiarity with the power demands of high-density compute
  • Comfort working across European and US projects and time zones
