Senior Analyst, Procurement

• Identify qualified suppliers for requirements, fully leveraging existing agreements; • Manage purchase order placement process from requisition to invoice payment for assigned commodities within the Indirect team; • Obtain price quotations and negotiate pricing and delivery in support of commodity supplier and cost strategies; • Analyze supplier quotes and make sourcing recommendations sourcing decisions • Ensure product on-time delivery to schedule • Initiate supplier negotiations on price, lead time and terms & conditions • Complete purchase order documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures • Ensure timely placement of orders to support business needs and meet team defined turn times; • Strong communication skills to interface with requisitioner and other functional groups • Ability to work as a team member independently based on additional projects as assigned to support Supply Chain organization.
Job Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with SAP procurement software or similar ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems in a supply chain or procurement environment, including: Oracle, Epicor, People Soft, APEX or PRISM
- Advanced proficiency in English
