Role Description As a Bodily Injury/Property Damage Liability Team Lead at Reserv, you will be a working leader providing support to a claims manager with leadership and claim technical responsibilities. Leadership responsibilities will include overseeing work done within the Commercial Transportation Claims adjusting staff. We want your background and experience to deliver operational effectiveness, particularly in leveraging technology and analytics to drive better efficiencies and performance. You will serve a critical role with the team, the customers, and the client. This role will balance management responsibilities and individual contributor responsibilities when volume dictates the need for assistance with a claim. • Conduct customer discovery meetings to determine reporting requirements • Understand and work with customer on Power BI Licensing, and understand the limits/advantages of each licensing platform • Create well performing star schema data models for use with Power BI, including proper calculated columns and measures • Creating Power BI solutions for customers including importing data from multiple sources, building reports and dashboards, and creating appropriate data elements using DAX and source queries • Guide customers on deploying Power BI solutions to the Power BI service (Gateways, DirectQuery, DataFlows, Data Updates)

• Assess and redesign the architecture of Power BI datasets and reports • Optimize queries in Power Query/M, DAX, and SQL • Create high-performance semantic models, with a focus on star schema • Reduce load times, memory consumption, and dashboard latency • Define high-performance analytical tables in platforms such as ClickHouse, SQL Server, AWS Athena/Redshift, or similar • Work with aggregated tables, snapshots, materialized views, and intermediate layers • Review relationships, cardinality, DAX measures, calculated columns, and filter usage • Support Power BI Embedded strategy, capacity planning, gateway configuration, and refresh processes • Establish best practices for publishing, governance, version control, and technical documentation • Collaborate with Data Engineering to improve pipelines and source data structures
