Role Description - Leading parts of the product development from inception to launch, and own large parts of the product and its features. - Working closely with our product and design teams to build high quality products with the goal of delighting and increasing the success of our customers, in a very iterative fashion. - Write clean, scalable code while driving the architecture and technical design of our most critical products to build intuitive frontend & backend features. - Plan and execute features with cross-functional teams to ensure excellent product quality. - Architecting, building, testing, and releasing features with the highest quality. - Share constructive feedback with peers while growing through mentorship. Qualifications - 5+ years in a software engineering role, preferably in a SaaS product environment, with a demonstrated impact on product development and team success. - Possess a strong aptitude for tackling complex technical challenges, from high-level architectural design down to intricate implementation details. - Deep proficiency in at least one high-level language (Java, JavaScript, Go, Python, etc.). - Solid understanding of web fundamentals (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and exposure to modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, Svelte, or Angular (React preferred). - Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or similar. - Willingness to quickly adopt and work with new technologies. - Understanding of product, user experience, and design, proactively spotting and acting on opportunities for improvement. • Provide technical leadership across the OnePACS platform and related imaging workflows. • Design, develop, maintain, and modernize Java-based platform services and applications. • Lead architecture and design discussions for scalability, reliability, security, interoperability, compliance, and maintainability. • Support modernization of legacy platform components while maintaining production stability. • Partner with Engineering, Product, QA, DevOps, Implementation, and Support to improve platform reliability and operational readiness. • Troubleshoot complex production issues involving application behavior, DICOM workflows, HL7 interfaces, routing, configuration, and customer-specific scenarios. • Mentor engineers through technical design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing. • Improve documentation, runbooks, diagnostics, and repeatable support patterns. • Help reduce technical risk by making critical system knowledge more durable, visible, and broadly shared. • Contribute to strategic product initiatives involving imaging workflow automation, reporting, AI integrations, DICOM router modernization, viewer modernization, and interoperability improvements. • Work within Agile/Scrum delivery practices to support predictable planning, execution, and continuous improvement.

• Serve as "Anchor" (team lead) for one or more engineering teams • Develop architecture and strategy for features and projects • Lead the adoption of new technologies while maintaining architectural cohesion • Guide tech-debt elimination in parallel with feature development • Champion the team's adoption of AI-driven development practices • Design and build Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and AI skills • Monitor and assess AI-driven development progress • Contribute to and help shape the company's AI-driven engineering culture • Establish and model best practices in code quality, testing, DevOps, and software design • Drive deep understanding in technical discussions • Provide mentorship to engineers at all levels
