Description We are seeking a talented and experienced motivated Frontend Software Developer who is passionate about building intuitive applications that meet the needs of our users. Asking questions, failing fast, and writing maintainable code are at the center of what we do while building applications for a Data Lake/Warehouse. Work is performed in a hybrid environment with a great team. - Assist with the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of web applications - Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to build holistic user experiences - Troubleshoot customer reported issues in applications and providing support - Write unit tests and conduct quality assurance testing - Other duties as assigned This position allows for partial telework. Clearance Must currently have and maintain an active Top Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required. Experience Five (5) years of experience with front end software development/engineering with a B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related field; or three (3) years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and nine (9) years relevant experience. Required skills: - Five plus (5+) years of experience with JavaScript and one or more web application frameworks (ie: Vue / React / Angular / Backbone) or similar demonstrated competency - Familiarity with Git or other version control software - JavaScript / CSS / HTML coding and code review - Defining and interacting with REST based API’s - Comfortable working on a *nix command line - Self-motivation; Ability to multi-task and prioritize open issues / tickets accordingly - Problem solving skills and ability to review information and compile data appropriately as needed - Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, spending an average of 2-3 days per week at our Columbia, MD office or Ft. Meade onsite. Flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes as needed Desired skills: - Previous experience with a Data Lake/Warehouse is a plus - DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications may be required in this position as directed by the customer Benefits Erias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $150,000 - $275,000.
