PEE is also in charge of continuously process/hardware related optimization to enhance the products' quality, improve the yield, reduce the cost as well as maximize the capacity output (wafer per hours output). In the PVD process for semiconductor wafer production, we use various types of Target and gases to form films most effectively.As a PEE, we have knowledge of both processes and equipment. The technical knowledge and soft skills would be developed throughout the learning journey with collaboration with all departments and contribute to better Micron memories. As a Cost Strategic Program Engineer, you are responsible to enable Fab15 to set Best-in-Class performance on Cost metrics and transform the business to exceed Cost business plans and commitments. You will be collaborating with fab leadership team and network to manage and run vital cost projects and programs as well as escalating key program risk. Responsibilities and Tasks Program/Project management - Drive cost specific projects. - Collaborate with project teams to understand the business value of projects and programs in place and how they contribute to BIC plan. - Provide program and project performance updates periodically with communication across functional groups. - Ensure strategic roadmaps with key metrics for Cost are created, maintained, and tracked to latest BIC targets. - Visualize the progress of business plan achievement, and establish the meeting structure of appropriate leadership review and team meeting - Manage and control program changes including scope, plan, business rules, policies, and procedures. - Work with site leadership team to identify project risks and propose/execute solutions. - Lead AI-enabled transformation in cost management to drive advanced analytics, operational efficiency, and strategic value creation. • Perform independent peer reviews of fire protection and life safety (FLS) design documents prepared and sealed by outside engineering firms. • Review fire protection drawings and specifications for compliance with: • VA Technical Information Library (TIL) • Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) • NFPA Codes and Standards • International Building Code (IBC) • International Fire Code (IFC) • Local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements. • Perform formal Fire Protection and Life Safety (FLS) reviews following receipt of design review requests and associated project documentation submitted by the VA's designated representative. • Conduct on-site inspections of fire protection and life safety systems during construction or post-installation. • Verify installed systems conform to approved design documents and project specifications. • Identify design deficiencies, code conflicts, and constructability issues while providing practical recommendations for resolution.
