• Teach and facilitate coursework in Global Health • Develop curriculum and assessments • Run live sessions during the week based on student needs • Create a classroom presence in support of students • Attend faculty meetings, programmatic meetings, and complete committee work

• Prepare students to address specialized healthcare needs of children • Focus on the patient from birth to young adult • Emphasize advanced nursing knowledge of growth and development, health promotion, health restoration, and health maintenance • Apply diagnostic reasoning and evidence-based practice to manage common acute, episodic, and chronic disease processes in pediatric patients • Facilitate and grade student assignment submissions • Run live sessions during the week based on student need • Cover a variety of topics including help with submissions and content delivery • Create high levels of student engagement and support

• Cover expectations, responsibilities, and skills needed for entry-level human services professionals. • Teach counseling, active listening, professional communication, and ethical issues. • Communicate with students and supervise Deans or other University staff related to teaching and learning. • Be available for students via phone, email, and for individual appointments as needed. • Respond to Dean/University staff regarding performance and student issues in a timely manner. • Exhibit appropriate behavior, language, professional communication, demeanor, and dress at all times. • Create high levels of student engagement through activities and community building. • Attend faculty meetings, events, programmatic meetings, and committee work as agreed upon.

• Adjunct faculty members are responsible for communicating with students and supervising Deans or other University staff related to teaching and learning. • Faculty must be available for students via phone, email, and for individual appointments. • Faculty will attend events, programmatic meetings, and committee work as designated by the Dean. • Faculty must complete a minimum of six (6) Rasmussen Educational Units (REUs) annually or two (2) REUs per quarter for each quarter taught.
