• Work collaboratively and independently to design and deliver solutions as well as review and provide feedback for those delivered by other engineers for our software and services on our cloud hosted production infrastructure. • Shape how our mission-critical enterprise software solutions are developed and deployed using optimized and automated CI/CD pipelines that ensure high quality products • Help design, build and support infrastructure and security technologies within the cloud that offer resiliency, observability and optimized cost. • Communicate proactively and effectively to different kinds of audiences within the company. Share your own experience, knowledge and expertise with others to help them grow and develop. • Participate in planning work and identify areas of improvement • Perform technology evaluation and selection • Participate in an on-call rotation for maintenance of the cloud solutions.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in scalable, distributed systems architecture
  • Experience with Cloud Platforms, ideally GCP
  • Experience with programming using Go (Golang)
  • Experience with Kubernetes for orchestration and Docker for containerization
  • Experience defining and implementing automated service deployments, including provisions for networking, security, reliability, management, reporting, and configuration management
  • In-depth understanding of best practices for deployment automation
  • Experience using Git in a team environment (pull requests, branching, push, and pulls)
  • CS Degree or equivalent experience

Role Description The Site Services Lead Hand Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment and the day-to-day coordination of site services crews supporting construction, maintenance, logistics, and camp infrastructure activities at the Coffee Project. This position provides frontline leadership, promotes a strong safety culture, and ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Role Accountabilities - Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, graders, bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, or other machinery. - Lead and coordinate daily activities of equipment operators and laborers. - Assign tasks and monitor work progress to ensure schedules are met. - Ensure safe work practices are followed by all crew members. - Conduct pre-operational inspections and basic maintenance of equipment. - Identify equipment issues and coordinate repairs as needed. - Assist supervisors with planning work activities and resource allocation. - Train, mentor, and support new operators and crew members. - Complete required documentation, reports, and equipment logs. - Monitor job site conditions and communicate hazards or concerns. - Ensure compliance with company policies, environmental standards, and regulatory requirements. - Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks. - Support incident investigations and corrective actions. - Report environmental concerns, incidents, spills, or non-compliance issues immediately. Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent. - Valid driver's license (often Class 5, Class 3, Class 1, CDL, or equivalent, depending on jurisdiction). - Heavy equipment operator certification or demonstrated experience. - Experience operating excavators, loaders, graders, dozers, skid steers, telehandlers, water trucks, Man Lift, Kubota, 935 Loader, Rock Trucks, and other mobile equipment commonly used in mining and construction environments. - Previous leadership, lead hand, or supervisory experience preferred. - Strong knowledge of equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures. - Ability to read site plans, drawings, and work orders. - Effective communication and team leadership skills.
