Role Description We are looking for an employee that can be responsible for the daily operational support of the coding department. Activities may vary, but will include: - Coordination of interdepartmental communication - Coordination of intradepartmental workflow tasks and items - Management of provider communication and related activities Supervision Received: Reports to Regulatory Services Supervisor. Supervision Exercised: None. Typical Physical Demands: Requires prolonged standing or sitting while working in an office environment. Requires some bending or stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, and other office equipment. Typical Working Conditions: Normal office environment. Responsibilities - Compile, distribute daily coding status reports and production statistics weekly - Assist in the completion of non-coding reports and tasks - Work departmental reports to identify any misdirected, unassigned, or uncoded encounters - Create, coordinate, and distribute coding departmental communication as needed - Manage administrative tasks as provided by departmental leadership - Maintain patient confidentiality - Perform related work as required or needed Location & Commitments - Full-time remote role headquartered at our Greenville Arlington Blvd. location, Monday-Friday, hours to be determined. - Overtime may be required to ensure departmental needs are met.
