• Working on a new project focused on leveraging Rust for high-performance distributed data processing. • Creating new features and improving the robustness, performance and resilience of the existing Rust codebase. • Solving complex business problems by designing and implementing robust code and cutting edge optimisation algorithms. • Collaborating with our internal project owners and our customers to design and develop services that meet their needs. • Building and managing scalable cloud software solutions with full IaC in a GCP container environment. • Working with cutting-edge technologies in the machine learning, optimisation and AI spaces.
Job Requirements
- Proven commercial experience developing with Rust.
- Strong proficiency in low latency data handling and data transformation.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, scaling and resilience.
- Experience building and managing containerised solutions on one of the major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- A self-starter mentality with exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with technologies such as TDD, BDD, Microservices, Distributed Systems, Event driven systems, Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform.
