Tasks Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Data Engineering Manager with strong expertise in AWS and GCP to lead data architecture initiatives and manage distributed teams. This role requires someone who has successfully managed both onshore and offshore teams and can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will play a critical role in designing scalable data platforms, optimizing ETL pipelines, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities 1. Data Architecture & Engineering - Design and maintain modern data architectures including data warehouses, data lakes, and scalable cloud-based storage solutions. - Develop data models, schemas, and metadata frameworks ensuring integrity and consistency. - Select and implement the right technologies for ETL, analytics, and reporting solutions. 2. ETL Design & Optimization - Build and optimize robust ETL pipelines across multiple data sources. - Improve pipeline performance, reliability, and scalability. - Implement strong data quality frameworks and monitoring mechanisms. 3. Technical Leadership - Lead and mentor a team of data engineers across onshore and offshore locations. - Conduct architecture reviews and code reviews. - Drive best practices in cloud-based data engineering. - Stay updated with emerging technologies in cloud, ETL, and BI. 5. Data Governance & Security - Establish data governance standards and best practices. - Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations. 6. Project & Stakeholder Management - Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource planning. - Communicate progress, risks, and updates to leadership and clients. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Expertise - Strong background in data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and ETL frameworks. - Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as AWS Glue, Talend, or Informatica. - Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale data processing. - Experience with BI tools like QlikSense, Tableau, or Power BI. - Deep understanding of cloud platforms – AWS and GCP. - Experience working with data lakes and big data ecosystems. - GCP certification is a plus. Leadership & Soft Skills - Proven experience managing onshore and offshore teams. - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Ability to work independently while leading collaborative teams. - Strong mentoring and people development mindset. Experience Required - 10+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, ETL, and BI environments. - Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-level data architectures. - Demonstrated leadership experience managing cross-functional and distributed teams. • Lead Risk-Based Vulnerability Management (RBVM) organization. • Own and scale the engineering teams behind NodeZero’s RBVM capabilities. • Build and lead an organization that helps customers move from vulnerability lists to FixOps.

• Act as a player coach by mentoring, managing, and supporting software developers and testers while contributing selectively to hands-on delivery work as needed. • Partner with Product Management and Project Management to support backlog readiness, clarify technical dependencies, and translate priorities into executable team plans. • Perform people management responsibilities including coaching, performance feedback, development planning, and participation in hiring and onboarding. • Monitor delivery health, risks, and dependencies, proactively addressing issues and escalating as needed to ensure predictable and reliable outcomes. • Provide technical oversight and coordination for software integration activities involving hardware and firmware components supporting clinical imaging solutions. • Collaborate with hardware specialists, vendors, and partner teams to support integration, validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. • Ensure software and hardware interactions meet reliability, compatibility, and compliance expectations within operational environments. • Drive continuous improvement of development and software testing workflows, tools, and development practices to improve quality and delivery efficiency. • Lead software QA testing activities, including test planning, execution, defect management, and test automation strategies. • Monitor and act on quality indicators such as defect trends, test coverage, release stability, and post-release issues. • Collaborate with Product Support and other partner teams to ensure effective defect resolution, root cause analysis, and sustained product stability. • Collaborate with Product Management, Project Management, Solution Architecture, and other partner teams to align delivery execution with priorities and constraints. • Communicate technical status, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Stay informed on emerging technologies, tools, and practices relevant to clinical software delivery and testing. • Encourage thoughtful adoption of new tools and practices that improve delivery efficiency, quality, and team effectiveness.

In this role, you take full accountability for mission-critical tools, used to identify, detect and respond to advanced cyber threats. This is a technical leadership role. You'll work closely with the Engineers, understand what they are doing, and how they are doing it, and can guide them. - The team needs leadership. They are excellent engineers but aren't delivering as well as they should be. - They complete one task and move on to another but there's no one tying it into a bigger picture. - You'll work with the SOC Analysts to understand their views on the tool, and what can be done to make the SOAR platform more user-friendly. - Within this tool, the front end is all customizable and you can build into it either through: - 1. Build no-code solution (drag-and-drop interfaces) - 2. Write Python scripting in the tool itself - People leadership is the most important skill for this role; if you don't have specific SOAR experience that's ok. - If you come from a Systems, integration, CI/CD pipelines, and Scripting background then let's talk. - Don't worry you won't just focus on SOAR forever. That's where the work is initially but he wants the team to become more T-Shaped and work across the rest of the tools like Splunk, Exabeam, etc. - The future pathway of this role is to take responsibility for the rest of the security engineering team globally and own all the tools.
