Project Manager – 12 month FTC

• To ensure projects are delivered safely in accordance with Health & Safety legislation, policies, contractual specifications and obligations and manuals • Owner of the “Implementation Project” from design and commercial governance approvals through to service transition into ‘In Life’ Operations • To work with various stakeholders across the business to deliver customer driven projects independently or as part of a wider programme to time, cost, and quality criteria • To ensure resources (both internal and external) are arranged to implement the solution on schedule, sourcing quotes where necessary and ensuring statement of works are in place that are in line with the design and customer requirements for the project • To ensure hardware (and materials where necessary) are procured and available to site in accordance with the project plan • To ensure all aspects of the solution and services are implemented as per the contractual specifications • To identify, log and regularly review risks that would impact project time, budget or quality and be accountable for mitigation strategies where appropriate • To ensure all projects undergo a Lessons Learned review; and to participate actively in forums designed to drive standardisation of best practice, process and procedure
Job Requirements
- Extensive experience in project management within IT/Telecoms/other relevant sectors
- In depth knowledge and skills of project management
- Experience of working with senior management and external customers
- Knowledge of the telecommunications industry, especially of internet service providers
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Understanding of Data Network Technology – SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN, Internet, Cisco, etc. (nice to have)
- Understanding of managed services (nice to have)
- Knowledge of managed Network Services, including but not limited to, SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN, security services, LAN/WAN, and cloud is required (nice to have)
- Experience working to deliver in military/defence, public sector, specialist accommodation, or leisure environments (nice to have)
- A project management qualification (nice to have)
- Network Qualifications such as CCNA, JNCIA or other equivalent (nice to have)
- IOSH Managing Safely (nice to have)
- PRINCE2, PMP, SCRUM or similar project qualification (nice to have)

• Work closely with scientific project leads and cross‑functional contributors across evidence synthesis, statistics, and health economic modelling. • Responsible for end‑to‑end project management, including planning, resourcing, timeline development, progress tracking, risk management, and delivery oversight. • Support or lead project management discussions, prepare and maintain project plans, timelines, and reports. • Ensure clear communication of status, risks, dependencies, and actions, and monitor scope changes. • Coordinate internal workflows, facilitate alignment across disciplines, document decisions and actions, and support monitoring and evaluation of agreed processes and milestones. • Support strategic portfolio oversight and prioritization, working with senior leadership to balance competing demands and optimize resource allocation.
• Schedule, execute and control unique lean manufacturing projects with customers and internal stakeholders using Mission Control and Microsoft Project scheduling tools. • Read, understand, and execute projects to the specifications and scope defined in the contract documents and the AEH Quality Management System (QMS). • Strong, responsible leadership of internal teams and external vendors with positive, concise communication including kickoff and hyper-care meetings with documented agendas and meeting minutes. • Identify, document, and control engineering submittal approvals, change orders, risks, and opportunities per the QMS. • Validate ongoing availability of materials and resources to meet production schedules and delivery commitments. • Monitor and control the projects to resolve material shortages and uphold the contracted schedules. • Identify, document and control costs and expenditure schedules to authorize and execute the projects within the project budget.
