Role Description We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for enterprise web, API, and distributed systems. • Design risk-based test strategies for new features and releases, then rapidly convert those strategies into automated coverage using AI-assisted development workflows • Use Claude Code within VS Code or equivalent AI coding agents as your primary development environment to generate, scale, and maintain automated test coverage • Build and maintain automated test suites using Playwright, integrated within GitHub CI/CD pipelines, ensuring quality gates are embedded throughout the software development lifecycle • Design and implement agentic testing workflows that generate, adapt, and maintain automated tests using AI models and APIs • Build reusable frameworks, utilities, shared libraries, and AI-powered tools that increase test authoring velocity across engineering teams • Partner closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to shift quality left, influencing requirements, design decisions, observability, and deployment strategies • Continuously improve test suite health by reducing flakiness, increasing execution speed, and ensuring reliable quality signals for every release • Drive quality upstream by identifying risks early and implementing preventative quality practices • Own and improve quality metrics including automated coverage growth, escaped defects, test execution performance, flakiness rates, and release confidence • Enable developers to write, execute, and maintain automated tests as part of their daily workflow

• Contribute features, bug fixes, and improvements to our workflow automation platform (a Rust-based workflow engine with distributed runners, REST/gRPC APIs, and Ansible/Python/container runtimes). • Author automation — workflows and tasks written largely in Ansible and Python — in support of infrastructure and service delivery teams. • Partner with stakeholder teams to understand their needs and turn manual or ad-hoc processes into reliable, repeatable automation. • Build and integrate with custom APIs and external systems to connect automation across the infrastructure and service delivery stack. • Help improve the tooling, runtimes, and developer experience that other teams use to author their own automation. • Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a manner that is consistent with 11:11's Code of Business Ethics and Company Values. • Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle company data and information per Company data handling agreements, work procedures and policies. • Review and follow company policies and guidelines, data privacy practices, including annual compliance training certification and policy acknowledgements. • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications - Du hast ein Studium in einem MINT-Fach oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation erfolgreich abgeschlossen. - Du verfügst über mindestens fünf Jahre Erfahrung im Softwaretest sowie im Testmanagement oder als QA Lead. - Du bringst fundierte Kenntnisse in Testmethoden und Testmanagement mit – idealerweise ergänzt durch eine ISTQB-Zertifizierung. - Du hast praktische Erfahrung in der Testautomatisierung mit Cypress und/oder Playwright sowie in der Integration in CI/CD-Pipelines. - Du arbeitest sicher mit Testmanagement-Tools wie Jira Xray, TestRail oder vergleichbaren Lösungen. - Du interessierst dich für den Einsatz von KI im Softwaretest und hast idealerweise bereits praktische Erfahrungen mit entsprechenden Tools gesammelt. - Kenntnisse in API-, Performance- oder Visual Regression Testing sowie Erfahrungen mit agilen Methoden (Scrum, Kanban oder SAFe) sind ein Plus. - Du überzeugst durch analytisches Denken, Kommunikationsstärke und eine strukturierte, eigenverantwortliche Arbeitsweise. - Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse runden dein Profil ab.
