We are looking for full-time Primary Care Physicians who will deliver fully remote, video-based, comprehensive clinical care encompassing preventive care, sick visits, and chronic condition management. - The ideal candidate will be licensed in NY, WI, MN, IA, or be willing to obtain these licenses. - Must have board certification in Family Medicine. - Comfortable practicing the full spectrum of primary care, including pediatrics and mental health. - Provide overnight coverage to two of our partnership clinics, working 12-hour shifts during the overnight hours. - Work from the comfort of your home and deliver care to those who need it the most, supported by K Health's cutting-edge Clinical AI Platform. - Our virtual clinic is fully supported 24/7 by a dedicated team of Care Concierge, Clinical Operations, and technical support staff, which helps significantly reduce your administrative burden. - Provide high-quality preventative, acute, and chronic care in a fully remote, virtual setting. - Elevate remote care by providing compassionate and meaningful patient encounters. - Manage a dedicated panel of patients as their primary care physician. - Refer patients to specialists or acute care services when clinically indicated. - Work on population health initiatives for risk-attributed patients (AWVs, care gaps, transitions of care, risk capture). - Support patients immediately post-discharge to improve understanding of treatment plans and reduce hospital readmissions. - Practice continuous self-evaluation to ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and best practices. Qualifications - Board-Certified in Family Medicine. - 3+ years of post-residency work experience. - A minimum of 2+ years of experience in an in-person primary care setting. - Experience with virtual visits required. - Must have prior experience with EPIC EMR. - Clean background and medical malpractice history. - Willing to work 3x12 hour shifts, overnight. - Spanish-speaking is a plus. - Strong interest in developing longitudinal relationships with patients and managing chronic care conditions. - Comfort with management of acute conditions in a virtual setting. - Extensive experience handling 3+ cases per hour. - Eagerness to learn about and implement cutting-edge technology to improve efficiency and clinical outcomes. Role Description We are excited to build our National Virtual Care team with an experienced Physician who is passionate about obesity medicine and metabolic health. • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered, virtual-first primary care to patients across the United States through video visits, live chat, and secure messaging • Provide high-quality, empathetic treatment to primary care patients in a virtual care setting • Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment planning for patients across various ages and backgrounds • Manage and coordinate care for chronic conditions • Provide preventive care, wellness counseling, and health education to promote holistic well-being • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results • Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal regulations • Handle referrals and prior authorizations • Manage scheduling and follow-up outreach • Complete administrative tasks including accurately and thoroughly documenting tasks and communications in the electronic medical record (EMR) • Complete compliance, CME, and licensing tasks in a timely manner • Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and processes through meetings, trainings, or other means • Participate in clinical quality and process improvement initiatives • Meet or exceed established performance standards related to patient satisfaction, encounter documentation, response time, clinical quality metrics, and productivity benchmarks as defined by organizational goals • Serve as a collaborating physician for assigned Nurse Practitioners, providing oversight, chart review, care consultation, and mentorship • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards • Take on other duties as assigned
