Job Description

IP Licensing & Commercialization Agent

Mercola

Role Description We've built the IP. We need someone to monetize it. This is a pure dealmaker role: take protected inventions to the large companies that need them and close licenses, royalties, and acquisitions. You won't grind on cold prospecting — an automated engine delivers warm, qualified prospects with context, so you spend your time doing the part only a human can: building the relationship, telling the value story, and closing. What you'll do: - Qualify and pursue licensees and acquirers across multiple verticals. - Own deals end to end — from first conversation through diligence to a signed agreement. - Translate technical inventions into clear commercial value for corporate licensing and M&A teams. - Work hand-in-glove with our automated sourcing/outreach system, which feeds you the pipeline and logs every interaction. Qualifications - A closer with a track record in IP/technology licensing or complex enterprise/B2B deals — references that show real closed deal value. - Fluent moving between technical substance and commercial terms; credible with engineers and with corporate licensing and M&A counterparts. - Comfortable in health/bio and technology subject matter (you don't need to be the inventor — you need to sell the value). - Self-directed, ambitious, and motivated by commission. You want a high ceiling, not a high floor. Compensation Modest base plus uncapped commission and royalty overrides on the deals you close. This role is built to earn through closed deals — the ceiling is your pipeline. Exact structure finalized with the CEO. Benefits - Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage - Accident, Hospital Indemnity, and Critical Illness - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - Employer Paid Life and AD&D Insurance - Optional Supplemental Life and AD&D Insurance - Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance - Flexible Spending Accounts - Health Savings Accounts - Dayforce Wallet – get paid as you earn - Employee Discount - Retirement Planning (401k with matching contribution) - Pet Insurance - Wellness Program Offerings - Paid Time Off, accrued per pay period based on years of service, starting at 4.62 days annually. - 9 Paid Holidays per year, including 1 floating holiday. Our Commitment to Equal Opportunity and Inclusion Mercola and its affiliates (“Mercola”) are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race (including hairstyle and texture), color, religion or belief (or lack thereof) (including religious grooming and dress practices), sex, nationality, national or ethnic origin, civil status, age, citizenship status, sexual orientation, disability, genetic information, familial status, marital or registered civil partnership status, pregnancy or parental status, gender identity, gender reassignment, military or veteran status, or any other protected characteristic in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
