We are seeking a proven and highly motivated cybersecurity sales Account Executive to join our team in the US. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving Mitiga's growth by managing and expanding our presence across the US market. As an Account Executive, you will take ownership of strategic sales initiatives and lead the full sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise accounts, with a specific focus on SaaS and cloud security solutions. You will also work closely with Mitiga’s founders and core leadership team, playing a key role in shaping the company’s future growth and strategy. What You’ll Do: · Listen to customers and understand their key business and security challenges to best advise on how Mitiga adds value to their security operations Engage with CISO’s and security operations teams to build credibility and thought leadership and mindshare around cloud and SaaS security Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their business needs, challenges, and objectives, and delivering tailored solutions based on Mitiga’s platform Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow the pipeline and drive revenue across the US, while consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly sales quotas Engage with Mitiga’s growing partner ecosystem to establish credibility and strong go-to-market partnerships and mutually beneficial sales activities driving pipeline and bookings growth Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for prospective customers Navigate complex sales cycles with a focus on consultative and solution-based selling, positioning Mitiga’s value proposition effectively to address customer pain points Partner with Mitiga team members across Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, and Executive teams to align and strategy and deliver successful results Maintain detailed and accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system Who You Are:

Job Requirements

  • A seasoned sales professional with 5+ years of experience in the cybersecurity industry and a strong track record of exceeding quota and success selling to CISOs, cybersecurity executives, and heads of security operations.
  • Proven experience working in sales at early-stage startups (Seed to Series A), with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in high-growth environments.
  • Demonstrated success managing both mid-market and enterprise sales cycles, with the ability to navigate complex buying processes and engage multiple stakeholders.
  • A hunter mentality with strong prospecting skills and a track record of generating leads in greenfield territories.
  • Able to articulate technical concepts and map them to business outcomes, clearly demonstrating the value of Mitiga’s cloud and SaaS security solutions with a consultative sales approach.
  • Experienced in selling SaaS and cloud security solutions, with a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, market trends, and buyer personas.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage and influence senior executives.
  • Highly organized and data-driven, with strong pipeline management skills and a clear understanding of sales processes.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth, start-up environment with an adaptable mindset.
  • The candidate must reside in the Mid-Atlantic region- Washington, D.C., Virginia, Maryland, or Arlington.
