• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Linux kernel components for our products/services at CIQ. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable kernel designs. • Write high-quality, modular, and well-documented code in C and other relevant languages, adhering to coding standards and best practices. • Develop and maintain kernel-specific testing and automation tools to improve how we build, test, and release kernels. • Debug and resolve complex kernel-level issues, including memory management, process scheduling, and inter-process communication. • Collaborate with hardware engineers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of kernel components with hardware platforms. • Stay updated with the latest advancements in the Linux kernel community and relevant technologies, evaluating their potential impact on our products and services. • Review code submissions from team members and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and consistency. • Conduct performance analysis and optimization of kernel components to meet specified performance targets. • Document design decisions, APIs, and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing. • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering their growth and development.

• Build Blazor WASM components with clean, reusable patterns and accessibility in mind • Implement Minimal API endpoints in .NET with OpenAPI, validation, and performance in focus • Contribute to our MAUI mobile app, including shared component libraries • Work with EF Core and SQL (Postgres); define/maintain database relationships and manage code-first EF Core migrations • Support real time UI behavior using SignalR where needed • Leverage Claude Enterprise to generate, refactor, and maintain test scripts efficiently, and help define best practices for AI-assisted testing on the team. • Integrate authentication/authorization via Microsoft Entra ID (OIDC/OAuth2, MSAL, roles/scopes) • Ship via Azure DevOps (repos, pipelines, environments), following branch policies and PR reviews • Improve code quality through SonarCloud rules aligned with our standards • Generate and consume API clients from OpenAPI/Swagger for typesafe integration • Instrument services with distributed tracing and logging using Azure Application Insights • Help monitor service health, failure rates, and performance; participate in alert triage for staging/production • Work in three-week sprints with Product to refine user stories and acceptance criteria

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications using React on the frontend and Python on the backend, with PostgreSQL as the primary data store • Build and deploy scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging services such as ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, and CloudFront as appropriate • Maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform to ensure reproducible, version-controlled environments across dev, staging, and production • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions to automate testing, builds, and deployments • Practice Test-Driven Development (TDD), writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests before or alongside implementation to ensure high code quality and confidence in releases • Apply Spec-Driven AI Development practices — writing clear, structured specifications that guide AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code) to accelerate implementation while maintaining code quality and architectural consistency • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into well-scoped technical specs • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and help enforce engineering best practices • Monitor application performance and reliability in production, using observability tools to proactively identify and resolve issues • Participate in architectural decisions, balancing scalability, maintainability, and delivery speed • Design and implement systems that handle Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in full compliance with HIPAA and other applicable data privacy regulations, incorporating encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and audit logging by default
