Senior Backend Engineer
Insense | TikTok & Meta Partner
• Design, develop, and maintain our backend • Oversee the development and maintenance of our GraphQL API • Manage deployments in a Kubernetes environment on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) • Work closely with designers, product managers, and QA to deliver high-quality features • Proactively ideate and implement product improvements based on business and user needs • Foster an inclusive work environment, effectively collaborating with team members from diverse cultural backgrounds
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience
- Strong written and verbal English (C1+)
- Proficiency in Ruby; experience with functional programming patterns is a strong plus
- Advanced SQL / PostgreSQL knowledge
- Experience with GraphQL API development
- Comfortable with DevOps concepts - deployments, Kubernetes, GCP
- Product-minded, proactive, and able to work across cultures
