Technical Lead – Full Stack Java Engineer

• Act as the technical owner for Credit Risk applications and services • Ensure applications remain stable, secure, resilient, and available • Provide Level 3 production support for incidents, problems, and service requests • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues within agreed SLAs • Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and business teams to minimize service disruption • Design, develop, test, and implement new features, enhancements, and defect fixes • Deliver regulatory, compliance, and business-driven changes • Maintain and improve existing applications while reducing technical debt • Ensure all developments follow change management and release processes • Participate in production deployments and post-release validation • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and support engineers • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices • Promote high-quality software design, testing, security, and maintainability • Drive knowledge sharing and maintain technical documentation • Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and priorities • Provide technical expertise during incident management and problem resolution • Collaborate with third-party vendors where required • Support audit, risk, and compliance initiatives related to managed applications.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience within enterprise environments
- 5+ years of experience performing Technical Lead responsibilities
- 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience
- Strong backend development experience using Java 21
- Frontend development experience with Angular
- Experience with: Apache Maven, Node.js, Relational databases
- Strong experience designing and developing: RESTful APIs, Microservices, Enterprise-scale applications
- Proven experience writing unit tests and implementing automated testing practices
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and API best practices
- Experience working with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
- Strong knowledge of software security, maintainability, and development best practices
- Experience designing enterprise software solutions and system architecture
- English level C1 or above.
- Nice to Have: Experience supporting Credit Risk, Lending, or other Financial Services applications.
- Knowledge of Credit Risk integrations and data processing workflows.
