Participate in labor relations activities such as grievance handling and resolution at early stages. Collaborate with HR leadership and department managers to promote positive employee relations and compliance with labor agreements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to foster trust and effective communication. *Please note this position is referral bonus eligible*

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor and Industrial Relations, Public Administration, Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience with a focus on employee and labor relations.
  • Familiarity with labor contracts and grievance processes.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, including FLSA, Title VII, Elliot-Larsen Civil Rights Act, Bullard-Plawecki Right to Know Act, and related statutes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience supporting unionized environments.
  • Knowledge of collective bargaining processes.
