• Design, train, and evaluate multimodal foundation models that enable multi-robot mission execution • Drive model development decisions including model architectures, data mixtures, curriculum design, and training recipes informed by rigorous experimentation • Curate and generate large-scale training datasets from both synthetic and real-world data engines • Develop memory, communication, planning, and tool-use capabilities for AI agents operating across teams of robots • Be obsessed with evaluation: design benchmarks, metrics, and testing methodologies that enable rapid iteration across the team • Build and improve simulation environments targeted for synthetic data generation, evaluation, and reinforcement learning • Translate foundational research into deployable, real-time perception and decision-making systems • Collaborate across engineering, robotics, and mission teams to integrate AI systems with onboard autonomy stacks • Conduct field trials and mission operations to validate system performance under real-world constraints

• Design realistic **software engineering challenges** involving debugging, feature development, code refactoring, and performance optimization • Develop **reference implementations** and reproducible software environments • Write high-quality code in **Python**, **Java**, **Go**, **Rust**, **C++**, or **TypeScript** • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software defects • Refactor and optimize existing codebases for performance, maintainability, and scalability • Document technical decisions, implementation approaches, and engineering rationale • Review and validate technical solutions submitted by other contributors • Apply software engineering best practices across diverse programming languages and systems

• Build and ship mobile features for Android and/or iOS. • Create simple mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, renewals and financial services. • Work with product, design and backend teams to turn complex journeys into usable mobile products. • Integrate APIs and handle edge cases, loading states, errors and production issues. • Improve app performance, reliability, crash rate and user experience. • Support fast product launches, experiments and iterations across mobile journeys. • Help set high standards for mobile product quality across the app.
