• Lead and execute cloud infrastructure migration tasks • Act as the primary DevOps point of contact for UK and European engineering stakeholders • Maintain, optimize, and scale cloud environments using Terraform • Manage and refine automated deployment pipelines primarily via Jenkins • Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes • Seamlessly integrate with the existing DevOps team

• Administers the C5MI Azure DevOps organization end-to-end: projects, area paths, iteration paths, Teams (and their backlog / sprint configurations), security groups, permissions, integrations, and licenses. • Maintains inherited process templates (Agile and CMMI variants): custom fields, rules, picklists, work-item types, and form layouts; ensure rules enforce required-field discipline. • Maintains the C5MI Golden Templates (the reference work-item trees for each SDLC tier) and updates them whenever the SDLC framework or supporting guidance changes. • Stands up new project environments using the standard clone-and-tailor procedure; validate that each new project carries the correct tier, custom-field values, area-path structure, and team configuration before delivery teams begin work. • Builds and maintains shared queries, charts, and dashboards for PMO, IMS, and Delivery use (traceability coverage, gate readiness, defect aging, tier-compliance status, training currency, throughput, and similar). • Administers Azure Test Plans: test plan structures, test suites, test configurations, parameter sets, and shared test step libraries; coordinate with QA-activity owners on test-case organization. • Advises delivery and PMO leadership on the right ADO shape for new teams and engagements — boards, area paths, iteration cadence, team boundaries, work-item types, Test Plan organization, and dashboard layouts. • Translates the SDLC framework, tiering model, and customer-specific requirements into concrete ADO configuration choices. • Configures and maintains Kanban and Sprint boards for each delivery project: columns, swim lanes, WIP limits, card rules, and styles. • Monitors work-item status and progression: identifies work items in 'Active' state beyond expected duration, work items missing acceptance evidence, and work items closed without required artifacts.

• Deploy and validate data center network infrastructure (front-end, back-end, BMS, management): configure switches, install and validate optics, coordinate cabling, and drive deployments to completion. • Ensure physical connectivity meets production standards: coordinate fiber remediation, validate insertion loss and OTDR traces, troubleshoot optical-layer issues, and document as-builts. • Manage hardware logistics: device staging, rack/stack coordination, RMA, DCIM updates, inventory, and vendor shipments so devices are ready when deployments need them. • Partner with DC Operations, ICT, Hardware, and Network Engineering to identify blockers early, escalate decisively, and keep multi-team efforts on track. • Maintain cutsheets, as-builts, validation results, and lessons learned, and contribute to the deployment playbook that lets the team scale. • Provide operational support during and after deployments: incident response, troubleshooting, and break-fix.

Role Description As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you are the builder and operator of the pipelines, tooling, and security controls that let every engineer on this platform ship fast and ship safely. You will design, implement, and own the CI/CD infrastructure, security gates, container build pipelines, and developer tooling that govern how code moves from a developer's workstation to production. On a platform handling the financial data of millions of Africans, the pipeline is a critical control surface — and you own it end to end. What You'll Do - CI/CD Pipeline Design & Ownership: - Own the design, implementation, and ongoing operation of the platform's CI/CD infrastructure. - Build and maintain pipelines across the platform's approved CI/CD tooling — GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitLab CI, and Jenkins. - Ensure every service ships exclusively through automated, version-controlled pipelines. - Pipeline Quality Gates: - Embed security, quality, and performance validation into every stage of the development lifecycle. - Implement and operate SAST, DAST, SCA, and secrets detection for security. - Integrate AI-powered code review and testing agents into CI/CD pipelines. - Container Build & Supply Chain Security: - Own the platform's container build pipeline end to end. - Enforce the use of approved, minimal base images. - Maintain a software bill of materials (SBOM) for all platform services. - Infrastructure as Code Pipeline Integration: - Integrate all infrastructure provisioning workflows into version-controlled, automated pipelines. - Enforce IaC security scanning and policy checks before any infrastructure change is applied. - Environment Management & Dev Containers: - Own the platform's environment strategy. - Enforce the use of dev containers across all engineering teams. - Secrets Management Integration: - Integrate Azure Key Vault and AWS Secrets Manager into all CI/CD pipelines. - Enforce secret rotation schedules. - Observability & DORA Metrics: - Instrument all CI/CD pipelines with the metrics and tooling needed to track, baseline, and continuously improve the platform's engineering performance. - Own the collection and reporting of DORA metrics. - Developer Experience & Standards: - Own the developer tooling, onboarding documentation, and pipeline standards. - Work alongside the DevSecOps Evangelist to educate and embed DevSecOps best practices. - Runtime Security: - Implement and operate runtime security controls across the platform's containerised workloads. - Ensure anomalous container behaviour triggers automated alerts. - Incident & Rollback Support: - Maintain robust, tested rollback and re-deployment capabilities across all services and environments. - Act as a key technical resource during platform incidents. Qualifications - 4+ years of hands-on DevSecOps or DevOps engineering experience. - Expert-level experience with one or more of the platform's approved CI/CD tools. - Hands-on experience integrating security tooling into CI/CD pipelines. - Strong container security knowledge. - Solid Infrastructure as Code experience. - Hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms. - Working knowledge of secrets management platforms. Requirements - Experience with runtime security tooling — specifically Falco. - Familiarity with DORA metrics tooling. - Experience with serverless compute platforms. - AWS and/or Microsoft Azure certification. - Experience working in a fintech, banking, or regulated environment. - Familiarity with software bill of materials (SBOM) tooling.
