Job Description
Clinical Psychologist
DAWSON
• Conduct virtual individual and group counseling for patients with acute mental health conditions. • Develop and document comprehensive treatment plans based on patient needs. • Communicate with TRICARE/DoD beneficiaries and provide education on TRICARE requirements and benefits. • Prepare and maintain medical records and documentation in accordance with SOPs. • Make recommendations on hospitalization and assess fitness for duty. • Attend staff meetings for case discussion, education, and quality improvement. • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited university or professional school.
- Completion of an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship in professional psychology.
- Two years of post-graduate experience as a Clinical Psychologist using virtual platforms for evaluations, treatment plans, and psychotherapy.
- Current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently.
- Experience using virtual platforms within the military healthcare system is preferred.
- Virtual health experience outside the military healthcare system is acceptable.
